Better Than My Benro
I bought this tripod stand base for a few months now and I am enjoying it. I have a Benro monopod but one of the base feet broke. I am a videographer by trade so I went on a hunt to find a new replacement and ended up with this one. So far after filming several weddings and promotional videos using it, I have been very pleased with my results. I find it has stronger feet latches than my Benro had. It has the same functions but better. It has 2 different height adjustments. You can tilt it. I use either a Panasonic GH5 or GH5S on this and get keeps the camera and monopod up straight and stable. I would highly recommend this product for professional or hobbyist use.

2nd Half of an Amazing Monopod
I bought this for the Avella monopod and I can’t rave enough about it. Fraction of the cost of my Sirui and Manfrotto video rigs and it’s just as sturdy and fits in an airplane carry one. Can’t rave enough about this setup

well designed and engineered
this is a nice addition to a monopod, I use mine with binoculars. it works well, folds up nicely and has lots of nice features. although it may hold 13 lbs. without breaking, it won't hold 13 lbs. stable. but you shouldn't be putting 13 lbs on a monopod anyway. good value for cameras and bino use on a monopod.

Good product
This is a solid compact metal tripod. One issue, not a big deal, but it would be nice if the adapter could be locked onto the tripod. Without a lock, the adapter has a tendency to unscrew itself. Still a superior product that I would recommend.

Poor quality control, doesn't stand level.
I also received one that wouldn't stand level when used with a monopod. If you set it down it moved away from your hand. Turn it 180 and it would go the other way. It makes your equipment more likely to fall over.I measured the center of each leg to the other, and one was off by 1/4" I checked the length, for burrs in the lock tabs, for bends, and couldn't find anything that stood out. I ended up returning it.Too bad! I really liked that it had two heights, a very sturdy center lock, and the legs folded all the way up or down as needed for storage. If they could guarantee me one that was straight I'd get another one.

Pass on it, you can find a better one. both of mine broke when unscrewing the ball release. a wise man once said- fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice - cant get fooled again..`. - Bush

Good, but not really suitable for a tall monopod
Well built but extremely small for being stable... and useful

Well made --great price
I was very pleased with the design a method of adjustment for the legs. --I only have it for one day --will see over time.
