I bought this mug for my daughter for her birthday... we love the Chi series books and shows. This is a perfect soup mug, it's 16oz so larger than a standard mug. The background color is gray.... I thought it was going to be blue which is my daughter's favorite color. The photo Amazon provides shows the mug in blue and the description also states "light blue." However, it is very gray. But the mug in general is just really fun to use because of how cute Chi is, so we kept it.

My 13 yr old granddaughter is big fan of cats and of Japanese anime. I bought this as a gift for her and she loves it! It’s very cute and that’s all that girls her age care about. From an adult point of view, it has a good weight and the handle fits one’s entire hand comfortably; and best of all, I scored points with my granddaughter!

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my daughter as her middle name is Chi (like “Shy”). I can’t wait to get the books for her too! She loves this mug so much!

It's a little heavy, and there's a few painting issues. Overall, it's acceptable for the price.

This mug is adorable! It's also a really large size so you can drink a lot coffee, tea, etc. I think even soup would be good in this. The graphics of Chi are extremely cute and there's a neat little fish at the bottom of the mug you can see when you've finished your last sip. :)
