Great addition to my HOTAS ONE for Xbox series X
If you’re getting into flight simulation, these are a great entry-level set of rudder pedals that give you a big upgrade in realism without spending a fortune. What makes them solid: Smooth movement – Uses Thrustmaster’s S.M.A.R.T sliding rail system, so inputs feel fluid and controlled Good realism – Adds true rudder + differential braking, which makes taxiing, turns, and landings feel way more realistic. Wide compatibility – Works with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox setups Comfortable size – Large pedals with decent spacing and adjustable feel for different users

Good Rudder Pedals/Great Price
In MSFS 2020 I fly jets primarily with heavy use of the autopilot systems. So other than taxiing, takeoff, and landing I really have little use for rudders. Having said that I really DO need a decent rudder/braking system as good takeoffs and landings are pretty desirable parts of any trip. I was very tempted to go high end in the $300+ area, since my first cheap brand failed unexpectedly after a two year life. After too much thought and research I decided to give these $129 TFRP rudders a try. These pedals exceed all of my expectations. They are totally plug and play in a PC for MSFS 2020. They are very smooth, linear, quiet, and they get the job done. I am sure if you stepped up to the Velocity One or others in the $300+ category, you would probably find things that appeal to you. I am a general aviation pilot, and these TFRP rudders won't feel anything like a real airplane's rudder/toe-brake system, but functionally they do very well. If you want it all you will need to shell out some really big bucks and also make sure it all fits into your sim area.

Best pedals for the money, cheap plastic though.
These pedals are smooth, the toe brakes work excellently, and the axis output is clean with no jitter. If you use these on a hardwood floor, you will need to either replace the rubber pads it comes with with larger pads, or something similar - as they will not stay in place. On carpet they're just fine. Can't knock them for our smooth flooring though. They are plug-and-play, I did not need to make any effort really, my Windows 10 machine worked with them immediately. A+ for ease of use there, no driver hunting needed. The immersion that these simple pedals offer is fantastic, and they're quite precise. They helped me tremendously while I was learning how to transition from a hover into forward flight on the UH-1, and are a welcome addition to every flight simulator and game that they work on. I have been using them for about a month and they have not lost any of the smoothness in the movement and haven't developed and resistance to being actuated fully. Definitely a purchase I recommend for anyone looking to take the extra step towards realism with a flight game. The single star I took off is because they do feel like cheap plastic. At this price, I'm not surprised, but while I haven't noticed any flexing while in use they feel like they could be broken pretty easily. If they stay solid I'll be back to rate them up to 5 stars.

Excellent value
I bought this last week despite a lot of bad press. They were cheap and plastic, they were too narrow, they were far too light - there was no end to how lousy they were. OK, there is a lot of plastic in them, but to me they do not feel cheap or flimsy. You can push on the plastic but it does not deform. For $80 or so you ain't going to get machined alloy. There are square rubber feet on each corner that grab the floor (wooden floor) solidly and there is no way the unit can move during use. The pedals are very strong and comfortable. I use them with socks on and there is adequate room, on them and between them. There is about 18cm between centre-lines of the pedals, and each pedal is about 11cm wide in the middle. They are about as wide apart, centre to centre, as a piper cherokee I have flown - an actual one. I suspect that a lot of the noise about them being cramped is from people who have not seen them, let alone used them. The pedals run parallel on metal rails, more or less silently, and very smoothly. You can unscrew the heel rests and use them with your heels on the floor, more like a real plane. I tried both, but prefer the rests in place. I placed the unit such that my legs were pretty much extended and got fine and easy movement in the pedals. I use them for Rise of Flight (WW1) so cannot comment on the brakes. I think that for $89 these are excellent pedals - quiet, smooth and solid - and I am really happy with them.

Decent inexpensive set of pedals
These pedals are nice and large, my enormous feet fit on them with no issues. They are grippy, so they don't slide around. My PC picked them up right away when they were plugged in and configuration was a breeze. The axis seem to be fairly sensitive, but I was able to deaden that out a little bit in my configuration settings.

Does the Job, and Does it Well
I purchased these pedals for Elite Dangerous to go with a whole new HOTAS set up. I was tired of using twist for Yaw control, since that is always the thing to break or start acting wonky for me with every joystick I have used. I decided to buy these pedals after a bit of looking around. I am completely satisfied with my pedals. They are comfortable to have my feet rest on, since that is common given they are under my desk even while I am not gaming, and I have no issues with them sliding around against my carpet. The build quality is perfectly fine, in my opinion. They do not feel super cheap, and the pedals are comfortable in socks or barefoot. They are easy to control. I sometimes even use just a single foot to control the Yaw input from a single pedal since they are "attached" and push/pull each other. The rails they slide on are smooth, and comfortable to use. The toe brakes are easy to use, though I have limited use for them in a space sim, I do use them in Vehicle mode for a gas/brake pedal set up and they work perfectly for that with the toe breaks. I wear size US 11 shoes, and my entire foot fits on the pedal without issue. Only the very tippy-top of my big toe goes past the pedal. It has been around six months since I made my purchase, and have used them regularly. I have not encountered any issues with input in my games, and the pedals still respond like they did the day I received them.

Cheap plastic feel and entry level "toy" like.
Cheap plastic feel and entry level "toy" like. Massive calibration needed for these pedals to respond anywhere near how real rudder pedals feel. Very light, so moves around a lot unless you custom mount them somehow. I tried by mounting to plywood but it was a pain. On the default "out-of-box" calibration in MSFS 2024, the slightest touch of a pedal send the plane in almost uncontrollable yaw ... especially on take-off roll. Don't waste your money if you want some realism in you flight sim experience
