Not fertile eggs
These eggs came in uncracked and safely as they should. We put them in our incubator and waited the correct amount of time. We were very excited to look in a see 1 baby quail running around. We waited and watched for one. One more hatched the same day. We have been waiting for a week now for the others to hatch and nothing. Out of 2 dozen eggs or more we had two hatch. The rest were unfertile. So if you are just wanting a couple quail then make sure to order a couple batches and maybe you will get the two you hope for. We have incubated and hatched many chicks and quail over the years and this is the very first time we’ve had this low of a success rate with it. We even have a very nice professional made incubator and have made sure to keep humidity and temperatures right at all times. It was not operator error!!! Save your money and find fertile eggs or get a guarantee or something. The reason for the one star is because it won’t let you select none.

Good Buy!
1st time trying to hatch quail eggs and pleased with the outcome. I ordered 12, 15 were sent. All the eggs were in good shape upon arrival. 14 were fertile and 9 hatched. 2 Texas A&M and 7 brown. It is my opinion that the eggs that did not hatch were due to my using a new incubator and the problems that I had with the humidity levels and the turning rack. I place no blame on the company suppling the eggs. I do recommend them and plan to order eggs again in the near future. Probably all Texas A&M's this time, although the browns are awful cute.

Unexpected turn out
I paid for 12, received 14 and half hatched. Had one that was not fertile. For my first time hatching I was surprised that half of them hatched. I thought I might get 3 at the most but I have 7. Half is better than I was expecting. I still have a few days on the rest, but I’m happy with the results.

8 successful hatches
14 eggs arrived without any damage, after candling them saw that three werent fertilized. Three for some reason stopped forming after day 13, but I had 8 successful hatches from the 11 fertile eggs. 4 cortunix and 4 Texas A&M quail chicks are now out in a brooder nice and healthy. Very pleased with what I got, and plan on ordering from them again.

0/14 hatch. Unfortunate. Was clinical in temp/humidity management...
Received 14. All were intact and packed decently. 0/14 hatched. I say this as someone who was clinical in management of temperature and humidity throughout incubation and lockdown.I candled on day 7, a difficult practice for quail eggs as it is and noticed maybe 3-4 were totally infertile as in NO YOLK. Maybe 3 or 4 had defined air cells going on and the rest were too difficult to tell. I let them run all the way to day 17 with no action. No pips, no cheeps or movement. It's now day 20 and I'm gonna call it quits - was hoping that maybe they were all just late bloomers or something. I live probably 40 miles away from the seller but the shipment went all the way to TN and back. Perhaps seller should consider a different carrier as my neighbor also had 3/14 hatch from this seller. Still low even by mail order eggs standards... I'll go back to ordering from the other Amazon quail egg provider. Had much more success with 'ladonna' I believe her Amazon handle is.
