Even Einstein, would've made a mess with this one.
This thing does everything well, except for one.It would not pour liquids, to save it's sorry glass. Here is a brief recap:-Markings, toughness & unbreakability - 5 starsDistance between cup & handle - 5 starsPouring liquids - 0 starsThis cup makes such a mess when pouring out liquids, that you're lucky if you manage to get one ounce into your bowl.

Sturdy, high-quality glass
I like the fact that this is a better quality, thermal shock-resistant glass.I like the large markings. Responding to another commenter, I can't say if the dishwasher will wash off the markings. I mostly use it to measure water, so that hasn't come up yet.The glass is heavy; I can't say of it's heavier that other 1-qt measuring cups, but it might be. It's maybe a little thicker than usual.I have 2 complaints.First, the handle seems a little shorter than usual, so it's a 3-finger grasp for me; this is problematic given the cup's weight. It's hard to balance or leverage when full. For some, it may be a 2-handed enterprise. My second complaint seems endemic to the style. Short of literally dumping the water into my cup/pot, it always back-spills from the spout and trickles on to the floor/table/counter. Why this design flaw seems universal and hasn't been fixed in at least 100 years (we've sent men to the Moon!!) is totally beyond me.It would seem to be a minor spout redesign, but there must be more to it, or it would have been done by now.

Good sturdy measuring cup
This is a great measuring cup -- dishwasher safe, easy to read, and has a good sturdy handle. The handle is exceptionally helpful because the measuring cup is so large. I am very happy with this purchase.

nice
label was a bit of a chore however nice measure cup thank you. I read some of the complaints with this measuring cup concerning the spout. Ignored them thinking how bad can a spout be? It is that bad spills all over no longer like this measuring cup.

The sticker aught to be placed on the outside.
This is a great, heavy-duty glass measuring cup. Only thing I didn't like was the manufacturer put the sticker on the inside of the bottom of the measuring cup and I had to try a few times to remove it; I wouldn't want that in my food if it would disintegrate with liquid. It would have been better to put it on the outside bottom. But it's a good measuring cup.

A pain in the behind to pour from
I really miss the old Faberware borosilicate measuring cups. This one is terrible to pour from. You have to have it tipped just right to pour without having any of the liquid run down the front of the cup and pool on the counter. The spout is teeny tiny and unless you are pouring a tiny little stream, it will run out on either side of the spout and the front of the cup. Would not recommend, not even for dry measuring because again, the small spout makes it a pain to use.

The only borosilicate cup I could find on Amazon
Update May 6, 2022.Wow. I just noticed the price change and had to comment. Back in June 2020, this cup was only $11.99 or $9.60 with a 20% discount. But as of today, May 6, 2022, I see the price is now $29.32. Yes I know this is Amazon and the prices here are constantly changing (Sometimes daily it seems.) But a near 300% jump in two years is quite a steep. Fortunately, Faberware isn't the only 1000ml borosilicate glass measuring cup on Amazon anymore. There are other options available now.As for the Faberware meassuring cup. It has held up great. I still use it today.June, 4 2020This is pretty much the only borosilicate measuring cup you will find on Amazon in this size and at this price.Unlike some reviews, I didn't have any issues with the sticker. It came off easily and left no residue at all. If it did, Just use WD-40 and it will clean it right off. I've used WD-40 to cleanly remove roofing tar off my hands, so sticker residue is nothing. Just make sure to wash the cup thoroughly afterwards. The spout hasn't been problematic either. It pours just fine. But I do tend to pour slowly so maybe that's why. If the spout was an issue, I'd just take my propane torch and carefully heat the spout and just shape it better. It's Borosilicate glass. thermal shock won't break it. It can but not if you know what you're doing.

what idiot puts a permanent sticker on the inside bottom of a food measuring cup
The product is fine, however, it took lots of effort and then the use of nail polish remover to get the manufacturers sticker off the inside bottom of the cup. Not the outside but the inside. For the extra couple of bucks I'd recommend the Pyrex instead and avoid the frustration of their foolishness.

I confirmed it's accuracy. A+
After reading one review it was off, I was concerned, but ordered it anyway with the idea I would return it if it was defective, as I liked the dimensions. That being said I used a scale with water to confirm the ml, and it is BANG on. I also confirmed cup measurements and it was bang on as well. However - with the line markings being so thick, the meniscus is behind it so take note to not have it above the line.

NOT DISHWASHER SAFE AS PER DESCRIPTION
One wash in the dishwasher and the markings nearly completely disappeared! Even though right on the glass it says dishwasher safe. Completely useless to us now.

No 1/2 cup measures
The cup is sturdy enough and the measurements are clear, but there are no 1/2 cup measurements and the spout drips easily. It works but I wouldn't order it again.

S'ébrèche facilement
La tasse à mesurer est fonctionnelle et fait ce qu'elle est sensée faire mais après seulement quelques mois d'utilisation, le verre a commencé à s'ébrécher sur la poignée. C'est un peu décevant.
