The one book which I feel is the only book that actually takes Storage, Server and Network and puts it into a single book is Data Centre Virtualization Fundamentals By Gustavo Santana. He does an amazing job in presenting the fundamental concepts of how these technology evolved from the Data Centre 2.0 to the Data Centre 3.0 architecture. Its the only book I have read that explains what is virtualization from the perspective of SAN, Server and Network in one book with good basic examples and how they all come together in the data centre. This is a extremely well written book in terms of language and how it is presented in terms of flow. There is strong emphasis on the basics and what problem the technology is trying to solve, explains how the technology works and then providing examples focused on Cisco platforms. A must read for any CCIE DC candidate or any data centre engineer deploying Cisco Data Center technologies. Last but not least I appreciated the authors humour and style of writing. Awesome book Gustavo!

Amazing book, I am studying for my CCNP DC and this book has really helped me to fill the gaps in my knowledge. Most Cisco books are really dry and tell you the "how" without the "why". Gustavo clearly described the history of the technology, why the newer features were created and why you would use them.If you can retain the knowledge from this book you would be able to take CCNP DC immediately and be well on the way to CCIE DC.

Ottimo libro
Come tutte (o quasi) le pubblicazioni CISCO il libro in questione espone tutti gli argomenti trattati in maniera chiara ed esaustiva. E' un testo per professionisti del settore, poco comprensibile per il pubblico "non addetto ai lavori".

only 69 pages in but this is a very good comprehensive book
I really like this book because its easy to read for the type of content being presented and its very comprehensive This is a must have for the library and it will refresh you on subjects like Architect, VLANS, Spanning Tree and many others. I currently already have my CCNA, CCNP, I was studying for my Architect but took a break and moved towards this book because we are adding Nexus 9300 switches to our data center. Its taking me on a journey through all of networking base as it teaches me about classical data center. I like that it is so comprehensive over all areas which gives it what I call a IT bible category meaning it should be in your library.
