ATIMOSOS 1PC Wired DHT22/AM2302 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor AM2302

I used this with Arduino for environmental control. I added 6' to the leads and it does not seem to alter the readings. I've been using this sensor for about 3 months without any issues. I've compared readings with stand alone units and it seems to be pretty accurate.

A fantastic little sensor. Working great using Adafruit's python library. It's pretty slow though (refreshes every couple of seconds) so keep that in mind.

Programming it for Raspberry pi0 use took a while to figure out. The Adafruit_DHT library installs for python version 2 but not python3. You have to run "sudo python3 setup.py install" . Otherwise import Adafruit_DHT gives you "No module named Adafruit_DHT" error. I Googled the error and saw that many people had the same issue.

Does not work with NodeMCU.

Purchased while back for a personal project and have used it for 2 months now. The temperature reading is correct, but the humidity value was off since the beginning, now it keeps reading 99%.

I have this sampling temperature and humidity every minute in my wine cellar using a raspberry pi 3 and some custom python code. I have it uploading to an AWS database (DynamoDB) and built a basic AWS Lambda function so Alexa can give me the current status. Useful and fun little project made possible by this inexpensive device.

I replaced a TMP36 temperature sensor last night with this unit, and the smoothness of the graph and accuracy is much improved! The casing seems solid too, and could probably take a few knocks.
