This product has a great, sharp, long blade. It makes zesting limes and lemons so much easier than my old box grater. Be careful, it's means business. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Currently on my second zestser, I wish there was a way to sharpen them.Love the zester, but they wear off too quickly if you use them for hard cheeses.Oh and be careful, zesting your fingers hurts.

This grater is perfect for parmesan cheese but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are buying as a citrus zester, you have to press the fruit really hard on the grater and then unfortunately get the white of the fruit and not just the zest - you are also lucky if you don’t grate your fingers or nails in the process. I will be keeping it for hard cheese but looking for a different zester. It is difficult to clean and has to go through the dishwasher twice to remove the lime peel, hand washing is really difficult.

We eat organic citrus fruit and like to add zest to baking, sauces etc. Removal of zest effortless! Just need to “brush” citrus across the grater.Also good for grating whole nutmeg when cooking greens and parmesan cheese when used as a seasoning very fine grating. Would not be without this as can grate directly into pan or bowl, very easy to clean and come with protective cover so that fingers do not get caught when storing the grater.

This grater is incredibly sharp. On very first use I managed to grate a nice chunk of my little finger. I put this down to a number of factors.1. The blade is quite narrow.2. The curvature of the blade seemed to encourage the narrow piece of Parmesan I was grating to go toward the edge of the blade and subsequently fall off.3. I wasnt really paying full attention and this was actually the main reason for the faux pas.My advice is, buty this grater and make sure you watch what your doing when using it.

I wasn’t sure about ordering as previous reviews said hard to clean ,rinse straightaway under running hot water and cleans no problem.Omg best zester ever great tool for the kitchen and time saver .very happy customer highly recommend .

This zests perfectly, it is very sharp and fine so requires very little pressure reducing the amount of white flesh taken off to nigh on zero. The downside, if you do not take care, is that it takes pink flesh off with the same ease as pith so unless you want to turn your gratings pink keep your fingers well clear. Excellent for parmesan and other hard cheese too.
