A wonderful pattern book for colorists!
Having recently rediscovered how much fun (not to mention relaxing) it is to color, I purchased several color books and this was one of them. This book is definitely one of the better quality books that I've received. The paper is good quality, the designs are printed on only one side of the page and the design/pattern lines are thick enough to not get lost in the coloring, but not so thick that they interfere with the design. The pages take colored pencils, markers and gel pens equally well. The designs are intricate enough that they take some thought when deciding how to color them, which is a major plus. And the patterns lend themselves to more than one finished design, if that makes sense. I purchased 2 of this volume and gave one to my sister who also enjoys coloring and when we get together and compare finished pages, they sometimes look like completely different designs depending on how we *saw* the pattern in the design. It's a great book and I am enjoying it so much that I have already purchased some of the other volumes & put others on my wish list for Christmas gifts this year!8/17/2015 - edited to add a few photos of finished pictures to give an idea of the wonderful variety of patterns in the book. There is a nice variety of complex (with tiny details) patterns as well as simpler, more open patterns in this book, While I didn't time myself when coloring any of the patterns (I'm about half-way through this book), I'd estimate that each page I've finished took between 3 & 8 hours total to complete. All of these pictures were colored with a combination of Copic markers, Spectrum Noir markers and Sharpie ultra fine markers. There was no feathering on the pages from any of these markers, but they do bleed through to the backside of the page (which is blank) so you'll want to put a scrap piece of paper between the page you are coloring and the next page - to ensure none of the bleed through mars the next pattern in the book.

Refreshing, intricate floral patterns!
I've become a huge fan of Angie Grace books over the past few months and have acquired several. If you like patterns or mandalas, you will LOVE these books! The Flowers set (this is the main book but there are two "wide tipped" versions of Flowers) is one of my favorites from Angie Grace. I love the flowery designs more than some of the other abstract books. Each page has a different type of flower, each feeling fun and whimsical in its own way. They can be colored with traditional flowery colors, or you can go crazy and turn them into something else. The level of detail in this book is rather intricate, though not quite as tiny as books such as Quirky. If you like flowers and want something with fine detail, you'll love this! The books are about average size and square - easy to carry around and color pretty much anywhere. They are only printed on one side of the page. The paper works wonderfully with alcohol markers (Bic, Sharpie, Copic, Spectrum Noir, etc.) The designs are always a joy to color. Despite having a large series of books, each one feels truly unique and different.Yes, the paper is thin. I was not originally a fan of the paper until I realized how great the thin paper is for coloring with markers. Put a blotter page behind what you're coloring and don't get -quite- up to the edge with your marker, and it works like a charm. The thinner paper allows the color to "bleed" outward more, which helps create smoother coloring with overlap lines. Colored pencils work great on here too, as long as you aren't scratching at the paper or anything crazy.

Must-have for colorholics
I love all of Angie's pattern books! This is one of my favorites because I love flowers and the designs are not flowers in the traditional sense, but the designs have a flower/nature feel to them. I color 1-2 every night to de-stress after work. Her books are the only ones I've found so far that I can use markers and it won't bleed completely through, but I keep a blank paper under it anyway. It's also awesome that each design is printed on the front of the page with NOTHING on the back. There's nothing worse than the publisher using cheap paper that bleeds and you have to decide which picture you want to color more. They are pricey, but for 104 designs that will take weeks to months to finish, it's well worth the price.!

Well drawn designs
I love the designs in this coloring book. They are well drawn and the patterns repeat evenly. The pages are sturdy and there is one design to a page. I have colored several patterns so far, and am really enjoying it! My medium of choice is Prismacolor premier colored pencils, which fill the spaces nicely as long as you keep the points sharpened.Over the past year, I've been coloring in a couple of books in which the designs are larger, and at first I wasn't sure if I would like the intricate detail of Angie's. Turns out, I like them more than the less complicated designs, which now seem almost boring! In addition, the book itself is very cute--completely square and a little smaller than other books, with a pretty cover.Glad I found these!

Flowers
I have 11 of Angie Grace's coloring books so far. I have only colored in two so far because I am a one book at a time kind of person. One book, Balance, I have completely finished. The other book, Flowers, I have done 3 pages from there I think. I love Flowers! It is such a fun book and I am so glad that I picked it to start on next. Trust me when I say picking out which Angie book you color next is one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make. I'd recommend this book and any of her other books to anyone!

Love this book!
This is my first "adult" coloring book. I have already enjoyed it so much! I work with kids during the day, so sometimes when they are doing artwork I'll take it out. I also use it before bed, and during commercial breaks. It definitely helps calm my anxiety when I'm stressed out. Beautiful pictures, they are all pretty similar. But I don't personally mind because I'll color them all differently. So far I'm using colored pencils, but I'm going to get some gel pens to try out next.

Excellent quality paper and amaizng patterns
I love this book. So much this purchase was my third time round. The patterns are pretty and not crazy or overly complicated. All the pens I have used on them have worked really well.. I'd recommend getting fineliners for the more fiddly bits. Have used craolya, sharpies and whsmiths own pens all go really well on it. Although use another bit of paper when using sharpies it's not seeping but there is some bleeding.

Love it
I love these pattern books by Angie Grace I like to colour in using gel pens which come in metallic and glitter finishes as well as plain and they roller ball tips so it allows you to colour finer details with a sparkly finish. The patterns Angie does are really fine detailed so perfect for me.
