Best multitool ever used.

Its a good drill for home usage amd medium heavy usage. Do not consider ot for professional use. I all a good drill driver, does the work 🤙

This is not for professional use. Be very clear before buying if you need a tool for dyi Or for fixing house things this is the thing look no further its perfect for that. Only thing is getting attachment and parts is difficult like sand papaers for sander and blades etc. But it saves lot space as you won't need to buy whole tool just get an attachment

The performance is poor, not enough speed , not enough torque , can't handle drilling works on metal, poor battery life and heats up too fast. There is heavy sparking on the motor side of the product. This is only suitable for screwdriving jobs and absolutely not suitable for drilling works. I realised all this in just a day of recieving it and decided to return. Not recommended at all. Thankfully Amazon has a return policy else my hard earned money was going down the drain.

I bought this product only because it provides head change and variety of attachments can be used with it, otherwise you have to spend money for each type of power tools. It provides enough power for DIY projects. Pros: Easy to use. Light weight. Head change - Body with battery can be used with other attachments, thus saves money. If you are looking for a variety of cordless power tools this is the best choice as it provides head change. Hammer Attachment - Good for masonry drilling. Cons: If you are looking for driver, drill and hammer functionality, then there are better options than Black+Decker. I find it useful with TrimSaw(MTTS7-XJ), Jigsaw(MTJS1-XJ), Router(MTRT8-XJ) and Hedge Trimmer and Shear Attachments(BDCMTOSS). Unfortunately these attachments are not available(Currently unavailable.We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.) Accessories are not available(3.5"-86mm circular saw blade, jigsaw blade etc) 1.5Ah battery is good for driver functionality. Drilling, battery draining fast. What comes with the package is standard charger and it takes 3-4 hours to recharge the battery. If you want to buy additional battery, it will cost you more than the price of the this tool. (Better you buy one more BLACK+DECKER MT218K-GB 18V 10mm Li-ion Cordless Multi-Evo Multitool Starter Kit with Drill Driver Head) Fast Charger is not available in India and expensive. Hammer Attachment - Not good for concrete drilling. Heating quickly It is useful if the attachments are available. Unfortunately its attachments are unavailable

Product is good but full charge battery drains out in 10-15 min use. Extra battery 18v required but not available in India. International sellers not shipping to India. So it is disappointing. Black Decker should consider availability of high power 18v batteries in India. Recently procured extra battery with lot of search online. Think of this before going for cordless products. Nice product.

I was choosing a 12v Circular Saw when I stumbled across Black&Decker's system and I find it amazing! I ended up buying both Bosch 12v Drill+Saw and Black&Deckers Drill, Saw and Sander and I will compare the two platforms because they are very close despite the price difference. The Drill - you get a simple drill-driver in the package with no hammer action so it is useless really. But you need to buy this tool to put other attachments to it. - Get yourself the hammer drill attachment straight away if you want to drill into brick/concrete The Circular Saw This is where things get very interesting. And it is because Black&Deckers 18v system is sized at the 12v category - it is really important for someone who does not cut massive boards and only needs it for occasional DIY. I did not want Bosch's 18v saw as it's just too big (and freaking scary!) + The 18v system is very tourquy and you get much greater rotational speeds with it. The cut it makes is spotless! + The saw attachment is VERY well made! Much better than the body of the tool! Better than 12v Bosch Blue in my opinion!!! The "target" hair is much better implemented and visible than what I have on the Bosch! + Excellent dust exhaust port implementation - this is a different world compared to my 12v Bosch and a 220v Word! So tidy to work with! - The saw lacks parallel glide which is a bummer... I doubt you can get one for it either. You will need to use something to guide it. - you can't control depth and tilt of the saw blade like you can with the Bosch BUT what you get in return is a very stable base plate with no complications to it. The Sander + The Sander is excellent, so much power to it, I got enough use out of standard 1.5Ah battery that came with the tool. - Unfortunately I was unable to get a reliable supply of sanding papers for it, they come in packs where you get a few of each grit and if you want to buy say 20x180 grit only you will have to look at OEM supplies which won't be as good as original. The Body + It is a brilliant tool, you save money big time on not having to buy other tools and swap the battery back and forth... It is a different ideology all together and I love it + I love the grip this "drill" provides with the saw and the Sander. + I love the fact that I can expand in the second dimension of gardening tools running same battery - you will need to buy a fast charger and probably a larger battery. Black&Decker do not make higher capacity batteries which is a mistake in my view. I can get 6Ah for my Bosch and even 4Ah is not available with the Black&Decker! - Get that fast charger! Conclusion: This Black&Decker is an excellent choice for a serious DIY person, you save A LOT of space by not having to buy separate tools and only getting attachments, it also worth saying that you can run the tool body into the ground and a new one will only cost you 55 quid, will come with a battery and will power all your attachments. I still kept my Bosch Blue, because, you know, you want to be seen with a 12v Bosch, it is just a great tool but I must say, the Black&Decker does everything my 12v Bosch does even better in a smaller package and would power gardening tools which Bosch don't not even make. 18v Bosch would run circles around this system but it's a completely different price range and your set will be much larger... And still it won't power anything garden/household related (that's my problem with Blue Bosch and is why I run Bosch tools for DIY and Black+Decker for household) So get this Black&Decker and do consider it to be the only tool you might need as a DIY enthusiast. It has its limitations but considering it's price/quality I would not even think twice!
