## Description

From the manufacturer

Review: Armorsaurs, you can do it! - Armorsaurs is a live-action kids show on Disney, produced by MGA. The toys are based on the show. First off, these toys are for kids. A lot of toy fans and collectors are buying them up. That said, it is very hard not to compare these to other toylines. I can be an action figure snob, to a point. I understand these are mass produced for the kids. (hard not to compare to other figures) This review applies to all the figures in the current wave. *This is my fave figure of the 6. Something about the blue and black and the cool accessories the lil dude gets. When I was tinkering around with it, I was like "omg, the bow folds on itself!". It's the small, random things that make this neat. I'd like to see the dino he's paired with get made.* MSRP is approx $10. This is the price point found in brick n mortar stores around the US. If possible, I would not pay much more. Articulation is limited but creative at the same time. It is not a 5 Point-of-Articulation figure. The joints all move freely and are not loose or locked tight. The neck is ball joint so there's ample range of motion for the head. The shoulders are standard fare. Elbow joint is fixed to the upper arm; no swivel or double-elbow jointed. Upper forearm swivel allows some movement, but arm can not cross the body. No wrist articulation. Waist has no swivel, o-ring, or joint. Chest has no swivel or joint. Legs attach to ball joint from waist. Knee joint is same as elbow. Thigh swivel and below-knee swivel. Ankle joint, no. Plastic is good. Not hard or soft. However, there could be warping, particularly with the feet from being in pre-molded packaging. Accessories come on sprue. This is a cost-saving technique to have the consumer remove the accessories (also cost-saving not to company create packaging for loose pieces). Where the accessories go, the back of the card gives the consumer an idea. Can rely on images from desertcart too. Accessories, for the most part, are all monotone plastic. The pieces fit tightly into the access holes on the figure. The accessories can be used on any of the figures (well, maybe not Switchblade because he has a coat) so one can mix and match. Coloring is a mix of colored plastic and paint. Visual design is subjective. For me, I love it. Power Ranger-ish? Sure. But that's the point. Size is 3.75 inches. 1:18 scale is subjective. These lil figures can fit in your pocket. The packaging is, well, packaging. How to open is subjective. I used a box knife to cut thru the plastic where it meets the card. I'm not entirely sure how you open it up because there was no gap between clamshell and card. The accessories are tied down in which, the ties go through the cardback (cardback is double layered). You'll need scissors or a knife to separate it (it's also held down by cardstock restraints). For a kids toy, this is nothing like opening a small scale Star Wars figure. These figures, according to the company, fit into the large dino toys that are available. As for the character the figure represents, I assume it's pretty accurate. Personally, I find these figures fun and exciting. I've wondered how a modern 3.75" figure would be; I grew up on 80s GI Joe and there are modern versions of 3.75" o-ring figures. But those just don't attract me. These figures are a nice change and show what can be done. These days, $10 for an action figure is pretty good. The amount of goodies that come with it are a good value (back when, Hasbro was pushing $15 for a single figure w/ less accessories). I feel it's a terrific toy for kids or as a gift. Coupled with the armored dinosaurs available, it'd be great for play and imagination.
