These little jars are great. They're durable. The caps screw off and on easily, and they have a wide enough mouth, it's easy to add small items like beads, seeds, or even pigment powders without making a mess. The caps have a small liner that makes them more air tight. I did put liquid in one and roll it around and flip upside down and nothing leaked out. I don't know that I would want to store liquid in them long term, but they are perfect for dry goods. The price was great too. I have bought similar volume bottles before (40ml) and they were taller. These have a larger footprint so they're more stable standing on their own and I like that

They are true to the size you see in the listing. They don't leak, even when shaken. They work well for whatever you want a tiny glass bottle for. I didn't check the capacity with a measure, but they appear to be the right size for 40ml. The price is comparable with what you find a 40ml lidded glass bottle for on Amazon. Cheaper than some, more than others. The difference is mainly shape and what kind of lid you want. These are a good value for the style they are.
