Successful Business Plan: Secrets & Strategies

I spent about an hour scanning thru each chapter and this covers literally everything! I went thru 2 years of cc for business but needed a good refresh to write a plan for today's market and I am thoroughly impressed by the depth and deatil inside. Ill update once I get thru it and complete my plan. So far tho this book has me extremely excited and motivated for this next step.

Needed physical book, online flipping througb chapters was not cutting it for me for my Capstone. This book is full of worksheets for anyone who needs help writing a busiess plan. With examplex of how iy comes together.

This book may be thorough, even exhaustive, in its approach to business plans but it is also very approachable. The authors do a fantastic job of explaining concepts that often trip-up the uninitiated. Still, it's sheer size and scope suggest this is for a more experienced business person or company. I would not highly recommended it to the person who has never written a business plan, solopreneurs, or side hustlers. If that's you, this book is overkill. There are less complex books to better serve your needs. However, if the business idea you are pursuing requires lots of funding or a business plan that shines, this is a guide you can trust to help you get there. It may not be cheap, but it's well worth it. NOTE: If you want to save good money, though, opt for the 6th edition which is 98.5% identical and misses out on nothing that is in the 7th edition. Lastly, I would say this book is almost perfect except that I have a big gripe. While the financials portion and spreadsheets presented are amazing and interconnected, which is brilliant, the author does not give you access to these sheets in digital form. At least not without charging you exorbitantly for the privilege, and then only in an anachronistic format that feels stuck in the 90s. I understand the need to protect intellectual property and prevent rampant copying, but why not offer book owners a hefty discount to access those useful financial planning tools? Instead, we're forced to do what? Photocopy them? This omission almost cancels out the unique strength of the book: those spreadsheets! It's an opportunity missed and the only reason this book doesn't get 5 stars from me.

A useful step by step guide on how to create a business plan.

Written in the most elementary form to build a business plan. Would recommend

Many parts of her business plan are redundant, and you end up talking about things 2-3 times, adding excess length to the plan. She fails to provide a sample to better show how to overcome the redundancy. For instance, barriers to entry is mentioned in industry analysis and trends and the competition (under competitive position).

My book has just arrived and I opened the box to this super damaged book. It has scratches and it is stained in the front cover.
