This part fit perfectly and was easy to install. Once installed everything is working great and have not had any issues.

Good replacement
Original: Doesn't work for the S1. It's too short and too loose. Gives me errors. The length is about 1/3 what it should be. Disappointing. Edit: This was totally operator error. There are two filament sensors that look similar but are not. Make sure you don't make my error and are buying the correct one. This one is supposed to have the shorter cable. Picture shows both types of sensors.

A necessary repair part Anycubic should sell, but doesn't
GOOD: • Works. • It's a part not available from Anycubic, and a part that seems prone to failure. • Heck, you can't even get the extruder assembly that this is part of from Anycubic without begging them. • Reasonable price. • Way faster shipping from Amazon than waiting on Anycubic to find and send you an extruder assembly. NOT SO GOOD: • The wires aren't terribly well attached to the circuit board, especially given the vibrations this part sees. I recommend applying electronics-compatible silicone potting material before installation. • Fit is a bit loose compared to the OEM board, but not so much that it causes operational issues. It just makes putting the extruder back together a bit more challenging than it could be. BOTTOM LINE: Did you follow Anycubic's instructions to unplug everything from the toolhead board to try and stop those incessant "reboot me" errors, and wound up with a disintegrated filament-detection-sensor connector for your trouble? This is your fix.

A worthwhile spare part for your 3D toolbox. Fitted okay, although the wiring loom and PCB end of the wire are tricky to route and install. My Kobra S1 started up with no faults. Recommended.
