I had no expectations , I like Pho soups and I needed spoons to keep at home and take with me on trips. The black and red look very classy and expensive, these have every comfortable design you can get on a spoon for Pho. I like specially the hook that keeps the spoon from sliding into the bowl and disappearing under the fluids, it is a hook that grabs the edge of the plate of soup and keeps the spoon where you want it. Another neat desing feature is the channel from the spoon to the hook that allows to use the spoon as a pouring device. The contents of the spoon can be poured over other foods or a sauce , with the channel like features. I like these spoons very much for all the features. The plastic is very sturdy and I think these will last more than a couple of years. Easy to grab and use. No flavors from the plastic are felt when I eat the soup.

There not ceramic but good quality spoons

We originally bought these for pho and soup dumplings, but have now used them for cheesy tortellini soup, chili, wonton soup, chicken pot pie soup and lasagna soup. They are perfect for any and all soup. Mine didn't come with the stickers on the back, like the other reviewer. They are sturdy and I absolutely love the 2 ways they give you to avoid losing your spoon in the bowl. 10/10 on this purchase.

they are large, have a hook so you can leave them in the bowl and not dirty the table, have a shiny, easy to clean finish. I bought a couple of sets of Asian soup spoons before I got to these. They are perfect, much like the ones I use when traveling to China. You won't be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  You know how you’re eating a bowl of pho or bun rieu or any noodle soup dish and the sooon decides to take a swim. It gets all wet and oily? Well these spoons prevent that by having a notch that allows you to rest the spoon in the edge! Love them! I can eat my pho in peace.
