I got these to do with my kids and husband, it is so cute and probably the best packaging. So they come plastic wrapped. Each painting has paint brushes, paint and little metal hangers behind each painting. Additionally, they are numbered in case you get them mixed up. You can easily sort it out. Painting what the numbers was easy. I picked the harder one in my opinion so that the kids could have the easier one and even though it was a little tedious it was fun. A few of the numbers I just kind of winged it and it still turned out great. We did not use the easel as all four of us were making one, but I do think that is an awesome touch for someone who is going to do these all themselves.

We had a great time as a family. I got more complicated kits for my partner and I, so the kids each got two. The canvases having a hint of color to help guide and differentiate is enormously helpful, especially for the kids. Great price for what you get; I will definitely be ordering again. The kids are excited to hang up their work, and I'm excited for us to build up our own little art collection. It was also a great lesson in letting go of perfection and being unique. You don't have to use the colors they tell you to, and if something feels too small or complicated, paint over it! My 5-year-old got frustrated that he wasn't staying the lines enough and he just painted over the whole thing, leaving a brownish mess. We talked about the lines simply being a guide, and that nothing said you had to do it perfectly. It's just about having fun. So he started the next one, had fun,and did great. And after asking if he wanted me to, I was able to take a wet rag and get most of the paint off of his first canvas - enough that it was legible and ready for another shot!

I love the character designs I promise, but don't let these cute and simple images fool you. The numbers get tinier than the thin paint brush provided even with a precise and steady hand. Also sometimes the numbers are still visible through the lighter colors. Fun for kids who don't stay within the lines, yes. Fun for a young an adult trying to de-stress, absolutely not. A nice gift to give to someone who wants a long term project. I hyperfoxated for about 4 hours until I reached about 90-96% completion. I finished the pumpkin but don't have an image if it.

Grandson loved these and enjoyed painting them.
