McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika, 17 oz - One 17 Ounce Container of Sweet and Smoky Paprika Perfect for Spanish Cuisine, Chicken, Fish, Pork, Potatoes, and More

I used to buy smokey paprika at my local Costco but then they stopped carrying it and it was so expensive to keep buying those small little bottles at the grocery store. Luckily, hubby was shopping on Amazon and found this bottle so snapped it up! The quality of the smokey paprika is just what you would expect from the McCormick Spice brand and the size is an awesome value for the money. It has a safety seal to keep it fresh in case you don't use it often, but I urge you to replace your regular paprika with this one and enjoy the flavor profile & extremely versatile. Everyone loves it when I make Rouladine using this spice and it doesn't change the color or heat level at all!

I use smoke paprika for many dishes. I hate it when you go the grocery store and find they have none and then you find that several other grocery stores don’t have it either. It's usually a supply chain problem and the stores eventually get it back in stock. This time I went online and found that Amazon had several options. McCormick is a trusted brand so I ordered a large 17oz. container. I pored some on a napkin along with my previous brand to compare color and smell. The colors were different but the smell and taste was so close that it didn’t matter. Some smoked paprika has different chili powder mixes which will affect color (darker red / lighter red). Bottom line: Great taste and great value!

McCormicks smoked Paprika is amazing. Any recipe that calls for Paprika gets a big flavor boost when you use the smoked Paprika. Once you use the smoked you'll never go back to plain !

Great value for the amount, fresh and flavor isn't overly smokey like some brands.

Been making the heck out of beef jerky lately and this is a great spice for that. Love the large container so I don't have to continually go to the store.

I more often than not tend to go with McCormick or McCormick Culinary spices due to freshness and quality. This McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika is no exception to that. This product has a really wonderful smoked paprika flavor. If a recipe calls for paprika, I'm going to use smoked paprika instead. I also love to use this in my homemade Ancho Lime Taco Seasoning mix, and it is amazing (recipe below). This package is a great value in the 17oz container size and had an expiration date of August 2025 when I purchased in November 2023. That's fresh enough for me! One of my favorite spices. I will continue buying it and recommend to anyone.

I'm happy. It has a classic smoky taste that you'd expect from a good smoked Paprika. I like the shape of the container as it's hard to knock over.
