Just received my chair today and if it wasn't for already putting it together, I would send it back. The foot rest is not very stable and pretty difficult to move up and down on the shaft to adjust it to your liking. The chair overall feels small although measurements match what is listed on the description. I honestly cannot picture the max weight on this chair at all. Maybe 175 and lower but definitely not 300. It is a very lightweight chair. I could see it being used as a regular desk chair without the foot rest. Overall, for my personal liking, this is definitely not the chair I had in mind althoughcushions do feel comfortable. I was hesitant on purchasing it with just one five star review I should've went with my gut instincts.

Be sure to hold the back rest securely before sitting; the rollers glide swiftly and smoothly on hard floors.

This chair is NOT a drafting chair... it is slightly higher than a desk chair. Was very disappointed but should have known better because of the price. If you are looking for a chair that actually goes high enough to use at a drafting table or standing desk don't waste your money on this one!!
