Review: Nice design but not hold shelf at 90 degree angle. - First, I like the design of these shelf brackets. They allow you to install a shelf or small table on the wall and when not needed can be folded down and out of the way. Easy to unlock and lower into place. But the problem is that the support brace is just a little too long such that when lifted into place, the bracket does not form a 90 degree angle. Thus, the shelf will be tilted back towards the wall. As another reviewer noted, the screws are very small, abut 5/8”, just barely long enough to penetrate drywall, certainly not long enough to hit a stud. Review: Smaller than I thought, but 10" just like the listing says. Spring loaded, weak hardware. - Admittedly, I thought these were much larger. I've bought some of these in the past for a folding table, but they were much much larger. These are smaller but seem to work the same. I'm not sure how effective the springs are. I don't think it's strong enough to lift a shelf, but it's strong enough to pop off on the desk. the included hardware or screws aren't great. Quite a bit smaller than I'd need to hit a stud.
