This might help
These worked out beautifully using my Epson ET-2850 converted to sublimation ink and a Cricut heat press. First off, do not remove the protective plastic film, you can sublimate over it. I attached my printed "mirrored" text to the nameplate and attached it with heat tape. The heat tape can go over the image, that won't cause any issues. I laid the Cricut heat press mat down on my counter and put a few pieces of thin cardboard down that I had but you can use something else that's heatproof to lay the nameplate on to keep it from bending on the heat mat. I put 2 pieces of butcher paper over the nameplate laying face up. I researched and found that aluminum is recommended for 400 degrees for 45-60 seconds of medium pressure and 45 seconds worked great for mine. Here's the trick once it's cooled down enough to touch. Run the nameplate under warm water or just lay it in a container/sink of warm water, let it soak for a few seconds, then start rubbing one corner and lightly picking with your fingernail, the film will lift off. Slowly pull the film off under the water. I did this for 4 nameplates; they came out flawless, with no scratches. Hope this helps.

These are white, not silver
These print OK, but we thought they were going to be silver since that's the color highlighted in the picture. We weren't able to use them for the trophies and the kids were disappointed, because it took another week to get the right product from a different vendor.

Works well...little instruction would help.
Got these to make some name plates for a local barn. They are nice thin aluminum signs just as described. Size is just as measured no issues there. The white sublimation side comes with a plastic film on it. I haven't figured out if this should stay or be removed. When sublimating over it the sublimation will go through and give a nice clean look but then removing the plastic is really tough. When sublimating without the plastic I've had issues with other strange "textures" showing in the unused areas. Almost like a chemical color type look. Overall they work well either way .. but would have appreciated even just a tiny instruction sheet about how to setup. Otherwise works great just as we needed.

The aluminum was scratched and there were dates stamped on it. Is only usable on the white side which was perfect. Bought them to use the aluminum side.
