Love this little gadget!
We'd purchased a previously-owned home & the switched electrical outlet was nowhere near the lamps we needed to power. This switcheroo solved the problem for us. It took 5 minutes to unbox & plug the 2 units in. There is a slight 2-second delay sometimes, from hitting the switch until the light comes on, but that is far, FAR better than trying to find your way into a dark bedroom. I'll be buying more of these nice little gadgets that do not require wi-fi to work.

Accomplishes the mission - albeit with some minor nits
I'm not particularly generous with 5 stars, but can sift incidental issues from functional shortcomings. This is not a perfect product. But it did what nothing else did, so that is first and foremost of importance in my score. Installation was literally less than a minute. It is truly a wireless extension cord.It is not super elegant. As mentioned in other reviews, it's size and appearance is industrial, but much cleaner than extension cords along the baseboard. It also misses occasionally on a wall switch "shut off", and the only remedy is to turn the wall switch back to on and back off. Sometimes, it misses several times in a row. Mildly annoying, mostly for those guests in my home who don't have the backstory. Finally, others mentioned the clicking sound from the transmitter when activated. This does not bother me in the least, but is present. If I were providing input to the manufacturer, it would be this:1. Consider a next gen design that eliminates the front dial, and allows setup of the channel through bluetooth using an app. This in itself would probably reduce package size.2. Consider making it IOT compatible (i.e. smart device). While this seems at odds with wanting wall switch compatibility, it really wouldn't be too confusing. If wall switch is on, gives you remote "on" and "off" through wi-fi. If wall switch is off, then those options are greyed out in the app.3. While this suggestion may be redundant, here me out. If you had a device that eliminated the channel dial from the package, you could further tailor the transmitter and receiver devices, such that the transmitter is a smaller form factor, since it wouldn't need 110v support, it would simply act as a bridge to the receivers. This would make the transmitter size and look more aesthetic.

Only docking a star cause of price
It works. It does exactly what it says it does. But damn is it expensive!

Good Concept But Only When Hardwiring Is Completely Impossible
I wanted to move the wall switch controlled outlet to the other side of the room and while I could've modified the electrical wiring upfront I thought this product had an interesting concept. It was simple to plug in and configure by turning the dial to the corresponding Send and Receive channels. Once that was done the signal easily "jumped" across the room and turned on the light. The deal killer for me was the slight lag and occasional non-response. I'm sure the split second on/off delay would not bother most people but I'm picky. And on occasion when flicking the wall switch the remote unit did not turn on or off. I imagine that toggling through the different channels might offer some troubleshooting but I ended up just modifying the electrical wiring and ran a new line to the desired outlet. It was a lot more work but it provided the true functionality I wanted. This product is still a good concept and might fit best in a different scenario like an apartment or condo where electrical wiring is impossible to modify.

Elegance in Simplicity
I was looking for a device which would turn on my swag lamp and table lamp simultaneously with my wall-switched floor lamp. I found plenty of "smart" devices that are controlled by a wi-fi based smart phone app or by speaking to google or alexa or siri or cortana or some other privacy invasive big brother crappola.Switcheroo is the only device I could find that simply and elegantly gets the job done. I ordered the two pack. I set the receiving Switcheroo to use channel A. The transmitting Switcheroo was already set for channel A. I plugged the transmitting Switcheroo into the switched outlet and plugged in the floor lamp. I plugged the receiving Switcheroo into an outlet on the opposite wall, plugged in the table lamp and ran an extension cord behind the sofa to the swag lamp. Now when I flip the wall switch, all three lamps come on (or go off) simultaneously. It was very smart of the Switcheroo designer to include two sockets on each Switcheroo. This allowed me to plug the table lamp and the extension cord to the swag lamp into each socket of the receiving Switcheroo. I was also able to plug in our tiny lit Christmas tree (during the season) into the transmitting Switcheroo which has the floor lamp plugged into its other socket.FYI: this device uses a radio frequency in the 900 MHz spectrum between the transmitter and receiver. It does not interfere with my Panasonic cordless phones, my wi-fi, my home theater, or anything, It just simply (and elegantly) turns on and off my three living room lamps simultaneously.I'm always getting requests by sellers to give them reviews but I rarely do amazon reviews because I don't want to be bothered. But without any request from Switcheroo for a review, I decided to do a review because this device is unique and deserves an atta-boy.

Works perfect !
I live in an older house with light switches that control an outlet , this makes it very nice to control a light across the room without wiring . Some people say it clicks when it turns on , the click is no louder then the light switch noise itself .
