Product description Printable Shrink Paper Sheets Video Sxaffayc Shrink Paper Semitransparent Sxaffayc Shrink Paper Review: A great creative medium - This is a neat version of something that I've been utilizing for quite a while, but I never had the opportunity to use it in this fashion. โShrink paper is fantastic for so many applications that people may not realizeโanything from detail in a junk journal to personalized jewelry to just crafts with your kids; you name it, shrink paper does it. It's super versatile and often not thought of as the craft medium that it is. โOne of my main issues with it has always been the need for the ability to draw on it. As much as I love using it, I'm not the best artist, and although sometimes I can use it as a bit of tracing paper, it's never exactly the same and you still have to figure out the color aspect of things. โThis solves the problemโI'M EXTRAORDINARILY GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND IT. This pack might be a little pricey given that it only contains six sheets, but I do feel as though this is a relatively new way of using this, and the pricing will likely get better as time goes on. It isnโt priced so unaffordably that I feel entirely deterred, as there are certain situations where nothing else will do now that I know it exists. โThe directions, while short, are very to the point. As long as you can tell the difference between the shiny side and the dull sideโwhich, if you look at my pictures, you can see even through a phoneโyou'll know how to insert this paper and print on it. โThe instructions for heating it up and shrinking it are also involved, and the rest of it just requires your imagination! โSo to summarize, I do feel as though it's currently a little bit cost-prohibitive to use as a substitution for every possible shrink project, but it's extraordinarily effective and a really innovative tool that you should have around if you utilize this in your hobbies. Review: great gift for kids - These shrink paper sheets are fun and easy to use for DIY projects. They run smoothly through my printer and shrink evenly in the oven. Great for making keychains and personalized gifts.

A great creative medium
This is a neat version of something that I've been utilizing for quite a while, but I never had the opportunity to use it in this fashion. โShrink paper is fantastic for so many applications that people may not realizeโanything from detail in a junk journal to personalized jewelry to just crafts with your kids; you name it, shrink paper does it. expensive per page, often break when shrinking
I have followed the limited instructions to the letter, and still seem to have trouble with these breaking. I'm not sure if it was the culprit, but it seemed like any point where I had to make a sharp corner to cut out a shape, it would inevitably be the point that would snap. The paper is rather thick and difficult to cut, making clean, rounded edges and precise cutting nearly impossible. Printing on the pages was easy enough. No streaking, smearing, or wiping off ink after the print job like some cheap papers have. These are definitely "kid craft" grade pages. I would never trust something of this quality for actual craftwork. Still, the kids had fun making some keychains and bookmarks for themselves, so I guess it was kind of worth it.

Quickly became a fun new project~~!!
This was my first time trying shrink wrap! Before I thought it was little gimmicky but itโs actually quite a lot of fun!! I like designing so being able to design something, print, then full partake in the wonderful world of shrink-wrapping-it-down was fun^-^โโ I had no issue printing with this on my inkjet. When this paper runs out Iโll be getting more in the future!

Choose white option for vivid, clear images. Great value overall!
I purchased these 'Sxaffayc 6 Sheets Printable Shrink Paper Sheets' for a couple reasons: One, because my daughter loves these plastic sheets for making keychains for her backpack, as well as for gifts for her friends. Two, because I have never seen an opaque white option. The sheets we typically use are clear. I think the white option works much better for clarity. The package we purchased had 6 letter-size sheets. One side is glossy, the other matte. Do your work on the matte side. While these are advertised for using in a printer, we used them for drawing by hand with colored permanent markers. This is how my kids like to make their custom keychains. We cut them out after drawing and coloring, then lay on foil in the oven to bake. They do curl a bit - so be prepared to press them down with a cup or plate when they come out of the oven. This is pretty standard with these shrinking plastic sheets. The opaque white is amazing! I love the clarity of the images. I believe the colors "pop" and are more vivid than with the clear. I appreciate the suggestions on the product listing to make ornaments and bookmarks. We usually make keychains, but I like these other ideas and we will try them!

Tricky to Cut but Shrink Well.
I've never used this kind of product before and I ordered these Printable Shrink Paper Sheets without taking into account the fact that I have a laser (toner) printer. The product and listing specify use with an inkjet printer but, currently, there are no warnings /against/ using a laser printer. These pages shrink at 320F (160C) and laser printer fusing ranges tend to be between 347F (175C) and 419F (215C.) Thankfully I realized my mistake before attempting to run one of these through (and potentially damaging) my printer. My error aside: I've reviewed these pages on their ability to be cut and shrink. The sheets are NOT a standard US paper size (8.5in x 11in) and measure in at about 8.25in x 11.5in. I'm glad I ordered the semitransparent sheets as it made it easier for me to trace designs onto them with permanent markers. After coloring them in with a variety of Crayola markers, I found that cutting the shapes out was more difficult than I anticipated. Cutting inward around the shapes has the tendency to cause the plastic to sheer and crack. I used my sharpest scissors and tried to be as careful as I could, but if I didn't keep the scissors at an almost perfect 90 degree angle to the plastic, it would crack unpredictably. One notable crack went into the purple horn you can see in my pictures. I slid a white piece of white paper into it to make the break more visible. The first two pieces I put in the oven seemed to work out great, at first. I guess I took too long and they cooled too much before I got them under a weight (recommended in the instructions) because both ended up cracking/breaking terribly. The third time was the charm, though. I cut even more carefully than previously and I was ready to weigh it down the moment I took it out of the oven. It came out great and I've since made two more charms without any trouble.

Amazing Shrinkage And Fun Crafting Activity!
My daughter has been playing with this at school in art class, so when I saw it here I knew I had to try it. What you can see here is an incredible shrinkage factor. She could very easily draw these at a reasonable size scale, and then simply by putting this in our toaster oven for 2 minutes, she got these incredibly cute and shrunken drawings. She has already gone through three sheets, and I can quickly see myself buying more of these as the neighborhood kids come over. Only one small note about pressing these, for some reason about half of them need to be pressed with a heavy piece of glass, and based on my experience you almost have to press this immediately, so have that heavy glass thing on standby before you take it out of the oven. Otherwise this is super easy and a fun crafting activity, and my daughter gives it five stars!
