I bought this set for an 8 channel 5MP wired home surveillance system, also using them in certain outdoor settings in electrical boxes, these are very good. Great quality, lights turn on indicating power. Very simple plug and play. I did run into a problem with just 1 of the adapters. Must have just been a bad apple-- contacted customer service and they responded immediately, sent me a replacement for the pair, re-connected and all working perfectly. Highly recommend for the value, quantity, and quality.

They work well and have a link light on them so you know you have connection. Very cool and allows you to change your old BNC cables over to standard ethernet runs then change at the connection ends.

These worked great with my HD 5 MP TVI cameras. Replaced some old IP cameras that were wired with Cat 6 cables and terminated with RJ-45 plugs. These baluns made the job super easy and because of their compact size around the ethernet jack I was able to insert them back through the hole drilled for the existing cables. I am disappointed that when I went to order additional items the are no longer available! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Wanted these to clean up the install of my Lorex analog 4k system and get rid of the extra loops of cable and put in Cat 6 for forward compatibility. They work as advertised. Intermittently, I get interference in the picture. I think I have to get some kind of shielded Cat 6 cable.

I was surprised when the resulting image quality was better over an unshielded computer cable that the original coaxial/power cable. According to the included documentation the usable line length is nearly twice that of the original cable. This I will be testing as I have a remote location that this will be extremely useful for. As a note I will not use wireless due to security concerns.

These work great. 14 installed and still working. Full 1080p. Love the slim design and for the price they are awesome. Pro tip: installing outside, be sure to protect from rain and humidity. Metal will rush and connection will fail without a barrier.

I connected these to a 100ft coax cable and 50ft Ethernet cable to test that they’d work over a distance before trying on my 190ft length of buried cat6 cable. The camera (Nightowl) worked fine with the shorter length but I get no signal over the 190ft cable which should be within the range for this product. Voltage drop is not my issue, but just in case, I powered the camera separately and it still did not work. The cable run works fine as ethernet, so it is correctly terminated at either end and not damaged. I’m still working on troubleshooting, but this is made slightly more difficult due to the lights on the device not matching the description. It only has a red led that signals it has power. There are no green or orange led to let me know if the signal is good.
