This is aimed at intermediate French students but the dialogues are delivered at full native french speeds and vocabulary, which makes it difficult to follow if you're stepping up from beginner level. That said, it's a very good, clear and well-presented course. I use it in a formal class - I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for self-learning.

it's a very helpful book and I like it very much. it's very suitable for a foreigner like me to learn French...

I did not read the whole book yet. Generally, this book is fun, alive, and fine for intermediate students, but... the grammar explanations are so short that additional exercises and the help of a professor are absolutely required. For example, the "double pronoms" in chapter 4, and the "discours rapporté" in chapter 6, are difficult subjects rarely treated in previous stages and they cannot be absorbed in one column of explanations. Maybe they could be approached later in the book. I would prefer also more audio exercises.

Como dice en el prólogo, este método de francés es para "adultos impacientes y con prisa". Es un curso intensivo nivel B1 que no pierde el tiempo en tonterías (como la mayoría de los métodos actuales, llenos de fotos absurdas y "documentos" de dudosa calidad pedagógica). Es un libro compacto 3 en 1, es decir: libro de clase , CD con TODO el material audio y libro de ejercicios en un solo volumen. Puntos positivos: -Estructura clara. 20 unidades, constando cada unidad de : 1ª página con dos diálogos (en CD incluido) para practicar la comprensión oral. 2ª página con textos para ejercitar la comprensión escrita. 3ª página con explicación de vocabulario y civilización de manera amena. 4ª página con explicación de la gramática. 5º, 6º y 7º págs con ejercicios de los contenidos de la unidad. 8º página con ejercicios de autoevaluación (oral y escrita) -Todos los diálogos están en el CD incluido. No es necesario la compra de material adicional. -Todas las transcripciones de dichos diálogos están en el libro. -Todos los ejercicios vienen con soluciones al final del libro.No es necesario un cuaderno suplementario con las soluciones. Desventajas: -Sólo existe para nivel A1-2 y B1. Ojalá existiese también para B2. Resumen: un todo-en-uno eficaz para adultos que quieran adquirir el nivel B1 sin perder el tiempo. Se puede usar tanto de manera autodidacta como con el apoyo de un profesor .
