Its very warm, very color black, very tight, very soft on the inside. however, I've never owned one of these items but it kept me warm just the part of my nose I thought it would have some sort of material that made it breathable, but not as tight that it made me have a runny nose. maybe i just need to use it a few more times. ATTENTION TO MY GIRLS OUT THERE or well guys too haha, its very annoying to put this on if you have long hair, I tried putting my hair in a bun and even then it was hard to put this on bc again, it is pretty tight. over all i would recommend

This thing was worthless. I'm not even bummed that I eventually lost it. Just standing there, without moving, it will slowly "close" the eye opening and slide up and hit your eyes. NOT fun when on a motorcycle in cold weather. You choose to either freeze your forehead or not be able to see. And once it starts the slide, it's literally only a few seconds until it does it again, after you straighten it out. I haven't owned very many balaclavas in my life, but of the 3 or 4 I HAVE had... this one was the WORST by a longshot.I will say, though, it blocked wind pretty respectably. Your face still felt the cold, but it was JUST outside of discomfort... as in it wasn't uncomfortably cold, just noticeable. And that's on a motorcycle with no windshield, going 55mph. It didn't fare very well sub-0 though. Somehow after doing some distance with AND without it, it actually didn't make any difference. I don't know if anything ever will, but I'm going to keep looking!

Tight fit, hoping it stretches some

I’m an avid hiker and am always in sub zero temperatures. This keeps my face, head and neck warm without adding much bulk. Highly recommend
