This wrist strap is very sturdy and well made. It also has a key on the adult's side so that the child cannot be snatched.I bought this to stop my almost 3 year old from running out of my sight and it does it's job perfectly. It's a lot easier than reigns as it doesn't restrict your hands and gives the child more freedom because the cord stretches.I cannot recommend this wrist strap enough because it gives peace of mind that if you glance away for a second your child has not disappeared. I used to be trying to pay for things, counting money, etc whilst keeping my eye on him and sometimes chasing him mid-payment but now I know that he cannot wonder off.
