Bought this for my daughter and she was super excited. The lamp is quite bright and the reflection on the wall is just circles/orbs. For getting a feel to look at the planets you would have stare at the main orb which may be too bright for children. It is very well designed. Little on the higher side but that's ok. It is a unique product.
