SeekerPi's acrylic case is a well thought out kit and enclosure for the Raspberry Pi 5. I don't have a lot of experience with RPi cases, but the one feature that sticks out for me about this one is hinged top. This is incredibly useful if you plan on using the GPIO; if using the GPIO, I recommend feeding the socket in through the side panel and attaching it to the header before putting the side panel in place. You may want to feed the camera's ribbon cable through its slot and attach it to the board as well prior to assembling the camera mount and installing the top of the case. Unlike most other cases I've seen, this one has a bit of wiggle to it, mainly because apart from the camera mount and the board mount, it's toolless. Not only that, but the design is also forgiving: I had installed the long side panels incorrectly but was able to fix that without much trouble. The camera frame and mounting looks like a bit of an afterthought, but its functional. I just wish case manufacturers would stop using nylon rivets. SeekerPi labeled the small parts bags, so I knew these were R3100 nylon rivets, which according to the internet are ~M2, so if you have any M2 sized hardware from a Nano or Pico project, I'd get rid of the rivets in favor of screws and nuts. Exercise caution when removing the protective film. The acrylic material the case is made of is fairly thin, and it looks like everything was laser-cut. While this makes all of the edges smooth and straight, it makes the removal of the protective film a bit of a challenge. It took ~15 minutes or more to remove all of the film. On top of that, the color of the case is also some sort of film- one of my photos shows one of the camera side panels which accidentally had removed the color film. All in all, this is a solid case kit with some good design ideas. The only addition I'd want would be a set of nonskid feet. Taller headers would also be nice for mounting the board, as I cross-threaded the last mounting screw and had to find a needle-nosed vise grip plier to liberate and remount the errant screw.

I recently got the SEEKERPI Raspberry Pi 5 Acrylic Case (Iridescent version), and overall I’m very pleased. If you want both style and precision for your Pi 5 setup, this case delivers — though with one caveat. What I love: +The iridescent panels! They catch the light beautifully, giving the case a dynamic, shifting rainbow sheen that makes the Pi look less like a utilitarian circuit board and more like a decorative art piece. +The fit is perfect for a stock Raspberry Pi 5 (mine is not wearing a hat.) All ports—USB, Ethernet, and GPIO—are easily accessible. The included aluminum heatsinks are a nice touch and the fan provides decent cooling, striking a good balance between passive and active cooling within a compact design. + All parts bags clearly labelled. What to watch out for: -The side panels are attached by *very thin* hooks. They're fine if you’re gentle, but are apt to break if you force them or try to snap things into place too aggressively. This happened to me, but thankfully it didn't prevent the case as a whole from coming together. I ended up adding some E6000 to the side with the snapped hook just to ease my mind. Overall I recommend this for anyone who wants a Pi 5 case they don't have to hide.

If you've never assembled a Raspberry PI case, then expect some confusion with this one. The illustrations in the small instruction manual are not very clear and the parts are not labeled. You will eventually assemble it through some trial and error. Pay close attention to the direction of the fan's air flow. The kit does provide a small screwdriver, but it doesn't fit the screws. I suggest that you move on and look for a better case, one made of aluminum.

This product is a raspberry pi. Its the motherboard for computers. Basic computers I believe. I haven't finished installing all the parts but I am glad to have it. It helps me learn more about computer parts and it also glows.
