Great Antenna but beware of Amazon's parts replacement rules
I like the product very much. I have the amplified antenna and discovered after a couple of weeks that the amplifier part was sporadic in performance. I wished to replace just the amplifier part but Amazon says "No Way." You have to replace the entire unit. Fortunately my unit works without the amplifier but should conditions arise where I would need the amp, I'm probably out of luck for viewing. Currently this item is out of stock and so I could not get a replacement item even if I wished to go through the hassle of returns etc. I'll admit Ive been a long-time Amazon customer and have never had over the years any issues, so this is my first one. If I could track down the company that manufactures these units for Amazon, I'd contact them directly but no one would give me that information. So , as I said, great antenna but be advised you can't get replacement parts.

First time an amazon basic product didn't live up to its name
Purchased this 50 mile antenna. Our main station is about 7 miles away. I got very poor reception. I tried for about 30 minutes placing it in various locations. In the end I gave up. I ordered a "Amplified HD Digital TV Antenna Long 65-85 Miles Range – Support 4K 1080p and All Older TV's Indoor Powerful HDTV Amplifier Signal Booster - 18ft Coax Cable/AC Adapter" for the same price from Amazon. That one had more reviews. I choose the Amazon one first based on reputation - as they always work. The replacement from Amazon immediately worked without even placing it on the wall. I had 32 channels while it was just on the ground compared to 19 with the Amazon Basics one. Once I placed it exactly where the Amazon basics one was, I ended up with 41 channels. I used a website to tell me which direction I should set it and used the iPhone's compass feature to approximate the angle. I believe the Amazon Basics one needs to be redesigned.

Works
Easy to use, although I wouldn’t recommend it outside. I’m able to pull in 39 channels, although I’m right in the city from which the channels are broadcast, and money only come in at 20%. I find that odd. But it’s nice to have local TV without having to pay for cable. The price was right. G

Works well for me in my location.
This antenna gives me all the available OTA channels in my area with mostly strong signals pointing in the general direction that maximizes the number of channels (Westward for me). I have mine mounted on a window pane in a utility space, on a third story level. I did notice some degrading of the received signal (with the booster / amplifier plugged in) when I pull an aluminum shade down behind it. I suspect that's due to multi-path issues with having a RF reflector / shield behind it.

Rated for 50 miles, did not pull in 45 mile distant stations.
So, this did not quite reach the stated 50 mile reception range even with me trying it in several different places. When the FireTV recast went through the channel scan, it listed several 45 mile away available channels when placed into the guide. When actually watching it, numerous cutouts/pixelation made them unwatchable.I returned this and went with an amplified external antenna (non rotating as several distant channels were in same directions) and now pull them in fine.On the plus side, it is well made and all the other channels 25 miles away and closer came in great.

Works well
I live by Caste Village, Whitehall borough, suburb of Pittsburgh, PA and I was immediately impressed by how well this works. The only issue I have is that I need to have the 'antenna' in my window. A small price to pay to avoid the exorbitant cost of cable, etc.

I get great picture on about 25-30 of 35 channels depending on weather.
Easy to setup and use, good value.Need better antenna for better picture on some channels in my area.
