Nice germination
I was only growing these a trial run (I never tried) but once they sprouted the plant took off with some fertilizer and blood meal 😁

Excellent strain
I am good at germinating plants. I've been gardening all my 63 years. These are easy to germinate and have been strong. Stood up to outside Connecticut weather. Beautiful purple branches and violet flowers. Beautiful fruit, the bees love these plants. I highly recommend them

Germination using paper towel works 100%
All the seeds sprouted within 5 days when using the paper towel method. Then I transferred them to peat pellets. But when I tried to sow them in peat pellets or small cups, none of them germinated

Does not grow
I wish I could say they had great flavor and were a good value. They never grew. We planted them indoors in the our starter pots to allow for pre-growing before being planted outside. It typically takes max of 2 weeks to see some sort of life. It’s been two months and nothing for any of the seeds received very disappointing especially for Burpee seeds. Just very Unfortunate and disappointed. Last year we had no problems with planting.

They are quite small actually...
Grew these last year and its really more of an ornamental bush rather than a producer of eggplant but we got about 20 fruits, about 2 1/2" to 3" long and about 2 " wide, as I Saud not much really if you want to eat them and they never do turn really dark purple all thecway, but they taste okay. I am still growing one as an ornamental but will switch to black Beauty or another larger size next season. I think I misunderstood the name Patio Hybrid to mean you could grow it in smaller above ground containers, instead of open ground, whereas instead it meant a small fruit variety. So if you are looking for a small fruit or really pretty ornamental, this is good, but to get really enough bro feed folks, buy the larger kind. Oh...to grow this plantvwell, water it only at the base, not on the leaves and don't crowd them. Happy gardening!

Not great
Very difficult to grow. The seeds started well. But once transferred to the garden, the bugs took to eating the leaves, and they began to wither.

These grow fast.
This is my first time growing eggplant and it’s going amazing. I’m growing 4 plants in straw bales and I’m getting my first little eggplants. I will definitely be buying more of these seeds.
