These foam-on-a-stick tools have already found any number of uses in my electronics lab - the little ones are really got at getting the flux out from between components :) ...The gf keeps nicking them to do her makeup - so I guess she approves as well ...And when the foam bit is totally used up, you can pull it off and use the flexible-but-firm plastic sticks to teach your nephew the difference between a catapult and trebuchet >:-) [My sister was not best pleased at the mess, but we had much fun - and she's my "little" sister, so I win every argument by default :) ] ...Now. If only they would make the handles hollow, I could fill them up with isopropanol like the old plastic-stick cotton buds!

This pack of cleaning swabs is very varied so before ordering do make sure you can use the majority of these swabs. I tend to use swabs for cleaning electronics, pcbs etc where the space is tight. I used the longer swabs for cleaning the mirrors inside a projector and these did a good job. You can apply a little cleaner fluid to the tips if you like but the swab end material does a good job by itself of cleaning with smear free results. I was looking for a range of swabs, specifically a multipack but everytime I looked either the quantities where too much or the pack was too expensive. I think at just under £9 at time of review is good value. Depending on use there's no reason why swabs can't be re-used provided the swab isn't dirty. These are made from a solid feel plastic so I don't feel worried that these might snap. Overall a very good value pack with a lot of sizes to choose from.
