As expected

as with 365's *California* 'unfiltered' evoo, "unfiltered" to me means that the oil is cloudy whereas the contents of this instant bottle is crystal clear. the olfactory and gustatory factors are excellent. assuming probity - that these factors are not effected by chemical counterfeiting or by adulteration - then i assign 5 stars. but probity is seriously questioned given the Italian olive oil industry's well-documented decades-long adulteration.wrt this persistent cap complaint: there are 9 bindings that fasten the cap to the neck ring (see attached photo.) you cannot simply break these bindings by twisting off the cap - as you do with a common plastic soda bottle - but rather you must break these bindings *first - before* you twist the cap because otherwise you will strip the cap's threads and you will be left with your cap complaint. i use an exacto-like blade to break the bindings. lay the bottle horizontally on a table so as to not cut yourself.

priced well for product. Good taste for the money.

Like a previous reviewer said, this olive oil is not only perfectly clear, so I’m not sure it’s unfiltered, but it does have a good flavor. We made salad dressing with it and it turned out great. I was concerned because initially it didn’t congeal in the refrigerator as did previous EVOO dressing, but eventually it did. Good product but maybe filtered.

I have always used regular olive oil and decided to try this. I was impressed by the taste of this. Unfiltered is so much better than regular.

Pretty good stuff. Use it to fry eggs. I also use the spray version for the electric grill.

Great tasting olive oil. Definitely worth the price.

Too bad it is sold out so often.
