Tetra TetraPond Bio-Activator Media Bag, 2-Liter Bag

This is replacement filter material for TetraPond Bio-Active pressure filters. You shouldn't need to replace this material unless you lose the material that came with your pressure filter. Here's the amount of filter material needed for TetraPond's different models of Bio-Active pressure filters: BP1500  and  BP1500-UV  filters: 8 liters BP2500  and  BP2500-UV  filters: 10 liters BP4000  and  BP4000-UV  filters: 12 litersThis information comes from an insert sheet included with the filter material.

This is the second time I purchased this item from This company! Fast shipping but I like the most is the fact the item itself is amazing! I use them for above tank sumps where I made a moving bed section in each sump and they work great especially for the price as to compared to other moving bed media brands

The media is much smaller than I had imagined. I needed 5 times more media and for the price there are much better alternatives

I got this product to be used in a DIY bed filter however I ended up changing my mind and got the whole thing inside a cannister fiter, so far it looks like it is working fairly well as biomedia, so being this I am going to give it 5 stars.Cheers.

The product does not look like the picture. The one pictured is what I already had in my filter. The shipped product doesn't seem to have as much surface area which is the point of the shape. & the construction seems inferior. That said, hey will probably work - even is it takes a few more. My main abjection is that they aren't the product pictured.
