Plant arrived in great shape, in only about 10 days already has ...
I live in Wisconsin and and I'm somewhat of a banana plant connoisseur I guess you could say. Two other plants which are different varieties I have are close to nine years old and one has a base circumference of 23 inches. Plant arrived in great shape, in only about 10 days already has a new leaf developing. I have it in a sunny window on the south side, hopefully and it appears the Gros Michel will be a great addition to my other plants. In in a side note not likely to actually get bananas where I live because of the short growing season, but done right bringing the plant inside in the winter, having it go dormant and back at it again when warmer weather bananas plants are a fun fast growing plant to grow and have on the patio.

Never produced bananas
Planted this in tropical south Florida. The plant grey very quickly and in a year is is now 8 feet high with two additional smaller stalks however after14 months there are no bananas. However it does provide a lot of shade.

Vigorous plant, quick shipping
Received a healthy, good-sized pup with three leaves from LLC Marketing - nicely packed in a priority box on 2/17. 2/20 I put it in a one gallon pot on a sunny windowsill. 2/23 it produced a new leaf. It's 3/2 and it's pushing out its second new leaf. I'm excited about my new banana!Edit: 3/19 and its filled out in the pot I put it in a month ago. I think I'll put it in the ground in the next week or two.Edit: 4/9 and its outgrown its one gallon pot. (I live in 9b Phoenix.)

I will do my best to nurse it back to health but it arrived in very poor condition. Will update in a few weeks. Looks like it's been in transit for several days.

Seller sells a superior product
I've purchased banana plants online before. Initially, I had two concerns. First, the shipping time seemed long. I also thought the price was high.Until the plant arrived. It arrived over a week earlier than project. It was well packaged and was a lot bigger than I expected. It had two leaves which were already well developed and a third leaf was beginning to unfurl.I feel that the plant was very healthy--no droop or issues after repotting. I couldn't be happier.

Hardy, overcomes trauma better than me, grows quickly
I am bananas about banana history and cultivation- and I love talking about Gros Michel. Now when I received my banana plant, it was in excellent condition and handled the travel well (although I ordered during springtime) with about 3 leaves (one rolled up). This poor banana plant has been through so much trauma. It was bitten in half by one of my cats at about 3/4 months into it's cultivation in my home. I was able to save it as I caught the damage soon enough and wrapped the stalk and it kept growing and didn't die. Then- my cat finished it off and took the whole top off, leaving just a sad little stump. BUT it came back with a vengeance! I had it at the greenhouse I worked at nursing it back to health- and it got sunburned on the first 2 new leaves it threw off bc a coworker moved it- bam-can came right back. This baby is going a year and two months strong with a traumatic history- but is doing very well. I will update with pictures later. As a side note these are more frequently cultivated off of side suckers and not grafted like fruit trees, so thankfully I'm not hanging on to some jack-off inedible root stock. :) (:

Beautiful
It came quickly and packaged well, beautiful little healthy plant. We are nurturing it carefully now, trying to determine whether to plant it permanently into a moveable pot or transplant into the ground. We live in Palm Springs area, so it must be sheltered a bit from brutal direct sun in the summer months. The irrigation part is not a problem, so it will be well watered, it's more about finding a good location to plant it.Overall, very pleased with the quality and excited to see it's growth!EDIT: It is a beautiful plant, keep t moist and don't leave it in a place where your dog can eat it... I came home yesterday to all the new lovely spiraling growth chewed off, and much of the other leaves. I sure hope it rebounds, since it's currently unavailable to purchase.
