I have given 3 stars as this seems to be a cheap reproduction of the actual Collins International version which is very classy, small, easy to carry and has a dual font tone (black and blue fonts) which make it easy and pleasant to read and search for information.This book (the one delivered to me) is huge and has cheaper quality thinner paper material compared to the other version, and all fonts are in black. Also it seems to be an older version (They had recently added some material in 2012, this is the 2010 version) So it is missing some extra notes here and there.Otherwise the book is decent, and has more or less the same information. I am just disappointed that Collins has allowed their Indian Partner Goyal Publishers to lower their standards in the above mentioned manner. :(

A must have book for anyone learning Spanish Color separation is a major asset.Cross referencing enhances the learning process.

It is a very good book, ideal for me as I am learning Spanish and I can look up and go over the lesson topics. It is very clear and gives good examples re establishing in my mind what I need to remember plus I can use it as reference for past classes and the practice pages are great. I am using it all to revise all that I have learnt. My fellow classmates are so impressed they too are going to buy the book.

I am three and a half years into learning Spanish and, until now, have had to rely on material produced in the USA to support my learning. At long last something produced in the UK for us!!!! Well done Collins. An excellent resource, clearly set out and explanations concise and understandable.My spanish tutor is also impressed with this as a tool to support my understanding and to practice what I am learning in a meaningful way.More of the same please Collins!

I've been teaching from this for a month now and am thoroughly enjoying it. There is a LOT about verbs and, considering the difficulties e.g. with imperatives in Spanish, I find the layout really clear, with lots of examples. I would thoroughly recommend this as a teaching tool and a revision guide for students. Collins' big dictionary is also very very good.

It is well set out and the whole presentation is good. An excellent help and addition for anyone studying Spanish from beginner to GCSE or level A2 for languages. It covers all topics and provides the additional practice students need as well as being a useful reference book to supplement their study material.
