The loyalty and love this dog had for his owner is so touching and will stay with you. Dogs are so amazing! If you are a dog lover this film is a must see.

The whole family loved this movie, watchable again and again

I love Richard Gere and I love dogs so this film has a lot going for it for me. It is based on a true story and because of this it is almost unbearably heartbreaking, but whether there is enough to fill a full length movie I’m not convinced. A nice easy watch however, and I’m pleased to have seen it. Richard Gere is just lovely in it and Hachi is adorable of course.
