Rumpole at Christmas

I am a Rumpole fan and I absolutely adore his books!! John Mortimer has created Rumpole as a witty, intelligent and crafty lawyer with a razor sharp mind which he employs strategically to win his cases.'She Who Must Be Obeyed' is also portrayed perfectly and is so completely suitable for Rumpole that there is never a dull moment in a Rumpole novel!!John Mortimer has me laughing out loud on several occasions with his funny cases, hilarious situations and weird coincidences.More Rumpole for me!!

I have seen every Episode of the series on DVD, listened to every Radio-Play, but These stories I did not know. I enjoyed them very much! And then discovered, that they are available on Audible......got that now, too! Love it!!!

A pleasant Christmas read with all the usual Rumpole suspects and associates. A comfortable way to while away time after Christmas dinner.

Just adore Rumpole's humour. The court room sparring he does. And of course the character of his wife "she who must be obeyed". If you like court room situations with humour thrown in you'll enjoy these stories.
