Getting Ready to Write

The author, as always, has compiled a fantastic book for all Early Years practitioners. This is the second time I have bought this book as I cannot recommend it enough to anyone working in Early Years and getting children ready to write. Lots of fun, inexpensive ideas which can be used at home, nursery or in the classroom.

easy to read, with lots of ideas to share and fun activities. really puts into context the early development and physical aspects of writing skills not just writing or copying letters, but about having control to make shapes, patterns and refine those fine motor skills.

really useful book with great ideas for promoting small motor skills in young children. Have tried out some of them with our children and they love the challenge of the activities.

This is a fantastic book with lots of ideas for helping children to develop their fine motor control. it has become a real staple reference book in our early years setting.
