Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound (Renewed)

Got it a bit late but I blame that on DHL not the seller or anyone else. When I got it. looked it over no signs of wear not a single scratch or imperfection. It was plug and play didn't have to mess with drivers or anything (it is Logitech after all). Sound quality and mic quality is nice. Did a test recording with OBS and Mic is much louder and clearer than my old headset without having to touch any settings. Love the roller on the side for volume up/down. Spotify immediately knew what the 3 buttons on the side were for without having to set anything up. (left is previous song, Middle is pause, Right is next song). Nice range on the transmitter Was able to walk about 50 feet away from my computer to my kitchen to get a drink with them on and music was still playing. IF I am being fair about this review though the only thing I can think of so far after wearing them for 6 hours straight is that they might be a bit snug if you have a giant melon head like me. But It didn't give me a headache in the 6 hours wearing them. And honestly if you are a headbanging metal head a snug fitting headset is a must or else it will go flying. Oh and P.S little red light on the end of the mic to tell you when you have your mic muted was such a genius idea why the heck did no one else do this? I would buy this again and again.

When I got the logitech G930 headset it worked great, did everything I wanted and didn't have all the wires that the G430 had, and for a good month they worked flawlessly. Then all of a sudden the sound cut out on everything but skype, and that drove my crazy because I knew they worked. I reinstalled the driver and that worked for about 2 days before the same problem happened again. So I went online to see if other people had better luck and it turned out they were suffering the same fate. Now this would be a great time for logitech to step in and help and they heard all about it. They couldn't care less if your product worked still as long as they had a new headset to sell you. This headset is the bane of my existence to try and run properly. I would recommend anyone that wants this product to look for a different company to buy from because this one doesn't care about the customer.

I have a pair, and i love them, i bought my girlfriend a pair, and she loves them.These headphones are only working on PCThey do not run the 7.1 surround sound on mac (however they do run stereo and mic)They do not work on Xbox one or PS4Some of the most comfortable pair of headset i have ever used, also Mic is very clear.7.1 is also amazing, and download an early version of the Logitech software for the voice morphing.Reason for 4 stars is the incompatibility with other devices such as Xbox, PS4 and MAC.If you have a PC these are amazing , though.

As some of the reviews say, there is a problem with the miniUSB connector, resulting in charging problems. It is easy to fix if your familiar with soldering tiny pieces and there are lots of tutorials of this specific fix on youtube, but If you're not ready to go through this, you might reconsider buying these.Apart from this problem the Headset is REALLY GOOD. Sound quality, microphone quality, duration of the battery (7-8 hours from full to empty). It's without doubts, the best Headset I've ever used.

I bought one off eBay and like many of the reviews it was junk, turned out to be a defective headset. I rolled the dice and got another after returning the first and let me tell you I have zero regrets. A bit of a side note, I dont use a wireless mouse or keyboard, I use wifi but the antenna and router and not in line with the headset transmitter and I keep my phone away from the transmitter. Not sure how much any of that helps or hurts but it's just the conditions I use it under. The sound is crystal clear and the mic works great even on the opposite end of my 3000 Sq ft home. The 7.1 is the best I have found for under $100 and the battery life is very good, I have had a single charge last over 6 hours while using the 7.1 and mic constantly. The downside is the ear cups are a little on the large side and there is a small gap between head and the headset in the front upper corners, this isn't a big deal and doesn't drop sound quality do to it but it can be annoying as I've never had this problem before I would say it's an ear cup design flaw but this is my first logitech headset so I'm not sure. All in all I would buy these again if I needed a new set.

Right out of the box, the mic was already disconnecting multiple times, then reconnecting. Along with that, the surround sound causes popping and buzzing sounds at high volumes. I wouldn't give it 1 star because the audio quality was pretty decent, but the mic quality was terrible. Just 5 minutes in and I unplugged, packed up, and returned it.Pros- Decent audio quality- Great bass/treble customization options- Programmable buttons come in handy in certain situations- Very comfortable in my opinion- Large enough to fit any head sizeCons- Repeated disconnecting and reconnecting of mic and headset itself- Static or buzzing sound when listening to in-game music- Popping noises can be blatantly heard when using surround sound- Just 10 feet away causes the headset to begin disconnecting and reconnecting every 4 seconds- Build quality isn't that impressive- Too pricey for a dysfunctional headset- Mic quality is terribleI do NOT recommend buying this headset. Go with the G430 at least, since it actually works and does include 7.1 surround sound. It's cheaper too, and overall is just better than the G930.

Comes with headset, base, and wireless usb sensor. They work great. I use them for gaming and can easily identify the direction of a shot while playing a shooting game (meaning the surround sound is very effective). For some reason the base will not charge the headset. I contacted the seller and he sent me a new base, no questions asked. The other base doesn't work either. Any other micro usb cord will charge the headphones though so I just gave up on the charging base. Half the price of any comparable new headset. WELL worth the money.
