Very beautiful handmade earrings unique you dont find anywhere but here!

I bought these blue opal studs because the makers actually state the Size (8mm) and solid Karat (14K). So often studs online are much smaller than pictured, and most sellers don't state the size. So often also the headline states 14K but the fine print reads gold filled. These studs came in an elegant presentation box suitable for gifts. The blue opals are vivid as pictured by their makers. The 14K gold backers are small and additional rubber backers are provided. I appreciate honesty. Thank you.

I love them, but wasn’t willing to pay twice for them. That’s how affirm looked at they didn’t care as long as I paid them! Not good compay!

I thought the stone was a beautiful color. I also thought the construction was flimsy. The stem was already bent and I didn't like the fact that it was not located in the middle of the earring so that it would stay where I wanted it to stay.

I’m not sure if I got a defective pair, but when I tried to put one on, the post bent. The backs would not stay straight and it was hard to get them off the posts. I returned them.

The opal, despite the fact that it’s rather small, is pretty bright and shiny. Other than that, the earrings are small, the post is thin, the backing is very thin and flimsy, probably that’s why there’s this ugly plastic holder in addition to what should be a normal sturdy backing. Without that plastic addition the earrings would be lost immediately. I guess, I’ll just get a different backing and enjoy the opal :-).

I love the color of these opals (opal is my birthstone). I am pleasantly surprised at the size. They really show up on the ear ! My bad, I did not notice that the description said they are lab-created, but after researching online about lab-created gems, I am okay with it. Same chemical composition as "natural" stones and are less susceptible to cracking. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. You craft lovely jewelry (this is the second piece I have bought from you) .
