These Beat My Hiking Shoes!I’ve worn these occasionally for two years, but after a trip to Hong Kong, I had to leave a review. I brought these Skechers as a backup—but after Day 1 of hiking shoes killing my feet after 16 hours of flying, trekking through airports, climbing 1,000 stairs, and walking up steep inclines and uneven pavements, my feet said no more to the hiking boots. I was planning to buy another pair in Hong Kong.So, out of desperation I switched to the sketchers and never looked back. I literally left my hiking shoes in Hong Kong..haha!!The rest of my week, I put lots of mileage on these shoes,through the rain, up/down stairs, steep inclines, and uneven pavements without one issue! Grip-excellent, support-excellent, comfort-excellent. My feet stayed dry even without socks, and never got blisters. They’re super lightweight, supportive (even with my bunions and need for arch support), and the shoes dry quickly. I wore these home too! I'm just shocked! I underestimated these shoes. I needed to share how tough these shoes are but gentle on your feet.They are true to size, but go up half a size if youre planning to wear socks. I have a medium (B) width foot as well. These are not flashy, but absolutely perfect for travel and painless walking. Highly recommend!

I have a very high instep, wide, completely flat feet and really weak ankles due to an inherited form of Muscular Dystrophy. I also wear compression ankle socks to help support my ankles. I find that some versions of the Go Walk Skechers are very forgiving shoes and they adapt well to my messed up feet. This pair fits extremely well. It's somewhat looser than some of my others in the same standard size 8 that I always purchase, but that's actually a benefit to me. I don't buy them in a wide width because I actually feel like my feet swim in the wider ones. These are simple to slip on. They are very lightweight and the fabric is stretchy and comfortable. I find them durable enough for my purposes because it's not like I'm running a marathon in them. The navy color goes nicely with my standard retirement wardrobe of Jeans. The heel is higher than some others I have and I like that because my Jeans don't bunch up at the top front of the shoe.

With hardly any quality control over merchandise manufactured and sold nowadays (no matter the brand), I am highly skeptical of buying clothing, and especially shoes, online. But the "economy of things" is forcing most retailers to do business online so we customers must follow suit. I took a chance on purchasing these Skechers Women's Go Walk Joy Sneaker slip-ons, because my trusty Aerosole slip-on, comfy shoes of 7 years have finally worn out, and am 100% satisfied! Not only do they look cute and come in a variety of great colors, they are SO comfortable with a soft inner lining and are slip resistant. They truly are great walking shoes and provide great foot support, which are priority for my shoe selection/purchase, along with comfort. The shoe is true-to-size. Since most shoes are made small and narrow nowadays, I bought a 7 wide and it fits perfectly with casual socks or athletic socks.Suffice it to say, my satisfaction is so high that I will be buying another pair of these Skecher shoes and recommending to friends who find it hard to get a comfortable pair of walking shoes with good foot support!

Nice looking, comfy and convenient. Important note though is that the step-ins make the shoes feel a bit bigger to me and slip up and down on the heel. Only causes a problem if you are walking longer distances.

I am one of those people who has only been able to buy one or two pairs of shoes a year and can’t ever seem to find them in a variety of colors. I love the shoes and have ordered them in more colors than I have ever owned in my life. They are comfortable and feel very secure. I am 72 years old and cannot risk falling. These shoes fit very well and are very supportive and stable. I won’t take off a star, but Skechers used to offer a red shoe and now they have taken them away. I was forced to buy another brand in red because I really wanted that color. Please give the red ones back. Also I have noticed that sometimes Not all colors are available in all sizes. That really doesn’t make sense because if they can make a shoe in a particular color for one size, they can make it in any size. I also wish they were available in Kelly Green. Every time I see another color in these shoes that I want, I’ll be buying it for sure.

Very comfortable shoes. I like that they slip on. A little big without no shoe socks, but they don’t slip up and down on my feet. Bought 1/2 size larger than normal because my feet swell.

Love these so much I bought a second pair in black! These shoes are comfortable and I love the taupe color. I bought these to wear around the house and to do errands in without having to change shoes. I can wear them all day without socks. I tried wearing them with peds, but the elastic in the peds rubbed my toes sore. So I dust my feet with foot powder and no chaffing or sticking without socks on. And my feet don't sweat or feel hot in them. The sole seems durable and thick enough as to not wear down quickly but time will tell. Like the fabric too. These slip-ons are more comfortable than my skecher sandals I bought recently that I can't walk in all day due to leg fatigue.

Overall, I like these shoes a lot. They’re comfortable, lightweight and easy to slip on and off. They fit true to size. They have a classic, minimalistic design, so they won’t go out of style. The black color is vivid and has not faded over time. However, I wish the material on top were a bit thicker, as it would make them warmer and more durable.
