Massage For Dummies

Easy to read and understandable. Very useful information

Doing a gift exchange for massage school, figured this would be a perfect gag gift!Everything would have been perfect, but it honestly looks slightly used. Which again its a gag gift so I don't care as much as I would have if I meant it to be meaningful.

"Massage for Dummies" (2nd ed) is an excellent guide to therapeutic massage for people who want to know about massage and still are uncertain about what to expect and how to give a massage. Unlike the first edition, in which the photos were very poor, this second edition uses a new set of photos of much higher quality and which clearly illustrate the various moves.Like other "Dummies" books, this one assumes that the reader is unfamiliar with the subject and so, it starts from the beginning, teaching the various moves and techniques, The writing style is casual and yet also professional.I recommend this book for anyone looking to a good guide to therapeutic massage.

I assumed that the book would delve into the basics of different strokes, methods and why it can be effective more stream lined. Strongly urge the next buyer to read or browse through before spending the money as this book really covers the technique in depth.

When I received this book I was a little surprised by its size but after reading its contents, I decided it was small but mighty. The book is about 3in by 3in but packed with good info about how to give a good massage.

Pretty good book and teaches a lot more than I had anticipated but there is a lot on receiving a massage. I would have liked more on giving massage.

Good book

Doing Stuff for Dummies books are large, chunky, fun and, most importantly, teach you lots you didn't already know. This is not that. This is a two inch square "book" that you can read in five minutes and then wonder how you got ripped off. It's the sort of thing you buy as a desperate last minute Christmas present for someone who you don't care much about.Don't buy this if you want to learn about massage. Buy a proper book instead. And please Dummies publishers: don't debase your brand by sticking it on rubbish like this.

The content of the book is ok but I'm disappointed to have paid for a new book and I have clearly received an used one. It is still readable but I could have paid less.

Great book, a lot of useful information, very handy, highly recommended.

When I bought this I must admit I didn't realise how mini the book actually would be! It's tiny size wise. However it does mean that it's an easy to flick through guide, with several tips on giving a good massage. I would have probably have preferred to have got a bigger size though, so bare this in mind when ordering.
