Works amazing!
First time using a unit like this and it worked great to help heal chronic heal pain I’d been battling. Also have used it for recovery. Appreciate how easy it is to use. Sometimes the signal drops but overall it’s definitely worth it.

STAY AWAY: Major Bluetooth Connectivity Issues and Lack of Support
Believe all the negative reviews regarding bluetooth connection issues! They will constantly disconnect during your program giving you no way to adjust the stimulation level and can introduced safety concerns. They rarely reconnect. This is with your phone IN YOUR HAND and not across a room! I bought this to use on my back and consistently within the first minute or two of use, they will disconnect. Over 50 attempts I have literally never been able to complete a back program. One time I started a back program and began to increase the intensity. As I was getting up to the level I wanted, I went up too much and started feeling pain. However, the powerdots timed its disconnect right at that moment. Since they were on my back, it was very difficult for me to reach them and took me a while to press the physical button on them to stop them while enduring that pain. I tested by having my phone placed on my back and I have to keep my phone about 6-8 inches away for it not to disconnect. Obviously, that is not viable as you have no control without your phone in hand. Addditionally, as I've researched more about this issue, it appears this product is being phased out by Therabody. Given the lack of support for these issues, pads being unavailable for months on end, no new marketing for powerdot in forever, the website having links that go nowhere and get 404 error messages, the app having news & education post from two years and older and nothing more recent, the app itself not having any software updates in nearly a year, the forums don't work anymore, and the list goes on and on. This product would be amazing if it actually worked as designed. The app is great and I like the physical form factor of the dots. But with all the issues I've mentioned it is definitely a DO NOT BUY!! Ironically in the picture I uploaded, I was holding my phone and had the pads exactly like the person in the app photo. Yet they disconnected and would not reconnect, something that happened each time I tried to run the program.

Outstanding product
I like to give credit where credit is due and also dispel any negative reviews this product may have received. I'm not affiliated with this company in anyway and purchased this product for my thigh and lower back pain due to a major leg injury and surgery. I also waited a few weeks before writing this review because I was initially skeptical. Let me start by saying this product is extraordinary and I use it every day. I found no functional issues whatsoever and connecting the App with the hardware has been seamless. It has been consistently reliable and without any issues. There may have been one instance when I opened the app before turning on the devices. This was easily resolved once I restarted the app. It generally detects the hardware almost immediately and this has been rarely an issue. The product offers a wide variety of preset massage, workout and pain relief programs within the app. They are amazing and offer highly targeted immediate relief. I've yet to try them all. In closing this has performed way beyond my expectations. Fully charged it lasts longer then expected and charges very quickly. It's a high quality product, exceptionally well made and very reliable. Highly recommend it.

Amazing little device!!
I rarely write a review, but I'm so happy with this gadget and has changed my life so much that I felt I had to share my experience here. I tore my Achilles tendon 6 months ago. At therapy, this type of unites have helped me tremendously. I wanted to have a TENS unit at hope, and liked the fact that this unit had bluetooth connection so I can handle it with my phone. I was worried it might not have enough punch. But Oh my!! this little units are great. I got the duo. I use it mainly for pain management around my injury, but also to build muscle on that side since it's a tricky area. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, I discovered you could use it to avoid clogs and manage inflammation on long haul flights, I gust recently used in a couple of flights, one was 12+ and battery behaved beautifully. I fully recommend it. My only advice if for potential users to understand that you'll have to buy pads to replace the ones it comes with, as they eventually loose their stickiness, this is normal with any kind of device like this. Hope it works!

Kind of like it
It’s as described. I’m just slightly confused on how to use it as when I connect the pads it doesn’t work per se. I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

Does not work Will not stay to Bluetooth required to use.
Device will not stay connected to my iPhone 13 running iOS 17. Continually disconnecting, and sometimes it reconnects most often it does not. What really upsets me is that the manual that came with the device has two pages on Bluetooth connection and compatibility. But the final paragraph says, and I will quote this here. “ If you fail to reconnect and resume stimulation after several attempts, consider stopping your stimulation session, using stop button on the stimulation, screen and postponing it for later. Another paragraph quoted below they says-too bad you cannot use your device of connection problems. “ Due to hardware level emergency stop mechanisms Bluetooth disconnections of a more permanent nature should not affect the safety of stimulation and can only cause a temporary inconvenienced by forcing you to post pone your plan stimulation session until more favorable. Bluetooth connectivity environment is established.” So, although a program will continue to run if disconnection occurs. And you can complete it without a connection. You are not able to change the level of stimulation during that 20 minute run if there is no connection. Why is there such a problem with the connection? None of my other Bluetooth devices have trouble connecting to my phone and staying connected except in rare occurrences. This device is not worth the money with this kind of problem. I don’t think any device is worth the money if it can’t perform the basic function of controlling the device via Bluetooth connection that is a necessity for use of the device. Reading through some of the other reviews that have reported problems with connection and have reached out to customer support, it looks as if the company has no intention of improving this device. It seems to be a built-in flaw that they want to keep. Very disappointed with this device. I had high hopes for its function and efficacy.

Great for knees and lower back. Each target area have a different program for best results.
20 mins on the targeted area and I feel better. I've been using it 3-5 times a week since I bought it 2 months ago. Tip: look for replacement pads from other sources. The OEM replacements are $$$ and the generic ones work just fine.

Good when it works - horrible connection issues
Bluetooth constantly disconnects and because of that it prevents you from adjusting the intensity at times. Phone needs to be very close, would have the pads on my back and I need to put my phone over my shoulder n turn my head to see if it reconnected. Went through Therabody customer service and they sent me a replacement unit after I shipped it in. Took almost 2 weeks to get a replacement only for one of the units in the DUO set to actually work, other was DOA even after charging overnight. Reached out for replacment, shipped everything back for another replacement. This time they shipped me only 1 pcs (uno) instead of the DUO. Had to contact them again to send out 2nd one. Now I dont have a split charge cable. Need one micro-USB cable for each one. And the bad bluetooth connection still exist. I've tried different devices, iphones, ipads and android phones all with no improvement to the bluebooth connection.
