Ginger Girl - Natural Shampoo for Natural Redheads

I purchased this product in August and have been using it about 4 times a week for going on 5 months. I'm still on my first bottle, about half way through. So I would say it lasts quite awhile! I was wary of the price since I never spend that much on hair products but I took a chance and let me say, I am so glad I did!I am VERY happy I found this product! I'd been seeking a shampoo or conditioner that would help my natural red hair and didn't rely on color depositing pigments to do so. This product has improved the shine of my hair, reduced frizz, and has made my natural red more lush! My family and friends agree as well! It's not a drastic difference but has yielded the results I was seeking. I'm very pleased with the purchase and product! The photo of me outside is of my hair before using the product and the other is of my hair after about 4 months of use.

Given the extreme differences in reviews for this stuff I took a gamble on trying it and I'm glad I did. Some people apparently have trouble with dandruff and say that it dries their hair out, but dandruff is actually from too much oil on your scalp. This can definitely happen with all natural shampoos since they're usually coconut oil based and something you should be aware of, especially if you tend to have oily hair already. Basically all sulfate free shampoos are like this. To avoid too much oil build up I just use my boyfriend's shampoo like once a week and get the best of both worlds. Like others have said it also doesn't lather much but the more lather you have the more the shampoo strips your hair. It definitely makes my hair shinier and I've even had people ask me if I did something different to my hair! It has the lightest scent of ginger too, definitely not like a standard perfume smell. Overall, I love that there's a shampoo for natural redheads, that it's all natural, and that the company is a small business and women-owned. Just waiting on the conditioner now.....

This is a good shampoo as far as shampoo goes. Lovely color, but as to the claim that it will enhance your natural red, well honestly I didn't see that. I have come to the conclusion that I just need to embrace the fact that as I get older my natural red will start to fade and no shampoo will restore my color and cover grey, at least not naturally, which is the magic I was hoping for!

It’s the perfect alternative to the color depositing hair care. I was always scared to have anything “dye” my hair color but wanted my natural red hair to just have more vibrance. I can say that this has helped me achieve this!It’s not noticeable within the first time using, but after a few times washing with shampoo & conditioner, you will definitely notice the difference. I think all redheads should give it a try! 😊👩‍🦰✨

I did notice that my hair was fuller, but that could have been because it was drier.As for color...it did NOTHING. I am a strawberry blond and hoped to increase the red, bu NOTHING!

So I’ve had this for a while now my bottle is almost gone. Okay so when I was younger my hair was like a copper red these last 5 years my color got darker. So I started looking for something for red heads and found this. So right away I realize that my hair wasn’t greasy when I woke in the morning I took a afternoon nap and thought okay my hair is going to need to be washed this wasn’t the case after day two I washed my hair not because it was greasy either. It doesn’t really smell like anything but maybe a little ginger. Now for the color the ends of my hair has gotten a lot lighter then the rest of my hair. The one with the white shirt is what it looked like before using and the one in the striped shirt is what I look like now

Great product for natural haired redheads! Takes a small amount to cleanse and lasts months! So when you think about the price, it’s totally worth it! I recently henna colored my hair and then decided that I didn’t want to continue it so this has made a huge difference in the fading of the henna as it brightens my natural hair color and makes it less obvious that the color is fading out. As for the reviews stating it dried their hair out, everyone’s scalp is different but for me, it definitely did not dry out my hair or scalp. Gives my hair a great shine and never feels stripped.

Bottle arrived with the safety seal punctured and a quarter of the shampoo was spilled out into the packaging. Since product costs a pretty penny, I’m pretty upset about this waste. There also appears to be a deal of sediment in bottom of bottle. Perhaps that’s normal but thought it worth mentioning.Product works fine so far, haven’t used long enough to see a difference in color. Smells good and cleans my hair.
