CHALAWork Tote Women Shoulder Purse with Detachable Crossbody Strap

Received my Chala Striped Work Tote a few days ago and love, love, love it! I first saw it mentioned on Life With My Rescued Coonhound - a Facebook group for coonhound owners. It met with our Callie the Coonhound's definite approval right away. Roomy yet light, plenty of space for everything needed for a mom with a coonhound, and very cute.

This is my fifth Chala bag and I love it just as much as the others. This one is slightly bigger than the crossbody purse and has an outside pocket, perfect for documents or snacks. This will be perfect to take on flights or long trips as it can hold quite a bit. The design is adorable, like all their purses. I love the cat's plastic whiskers. No issues with the product upon delivery and if it holds up like the others, I'll have it for years to come. The cat on the front even matches one of my floofballs.

It’s a very light and practical bag!!! Great for work or for small little get aways. Planning to use this bag soon when we go on a road trip. Also love the fact that they donate to the heart and home animal rescue foundation! ❤️🐾

What I think about My Chala love al the deep pockets and where the Sloth sits you can see in my picture I can put my Cellphone in the Sloth pocket, that's my favorite because I don't have to put my Cellphone in my bag. This is the largest purse I've ever owned. I was wary of getting such a large tote, thinking it'd be unwieldy. It's not! It's so well-made, the weight distributed evenly, the shape even while full doesn't feel obtuse or fat under the arm. The short straps are the perfect length and width to sit snugly on the shoulder and under the arm. I have 'weak shoulders' and it did not slip or run away from me at all. I love that it's a 'flat' build. I've kept papers, stickers, books, and other things I don't want to bend or get smooshed in this purse and they stay flat and upright! They don't sink and they don't get shifted about even with my wallet, glasses, phone, keys, and other sorts floating around in the purse. Even with the size of it, it's relatively easy to find everything inside as well.I haven't used it enough in the day-to-day to comment on durability but it feels like it can take life's wear and tear. Going off my other smaller canvas Chala purse and my 'leather' Chala wallet, which have held up wonderfully in the last two months of daily use, I'd say this one will do fine with the mix material. No idea how it does in the rain, though. It has a slightly almost waxed feel to the canvasy parts so it might be able to keep a light drizzle out.Simply a fantastic tote. Worth the purchase! Glad I finally splurged and treated myself.

This bag is extremely well made! It has plenty of room and lots of pockets. My sisters and I bought it for our mom for Mother’s Day. It was only after she opened it that I realized that the turtle on the front is actually a pocket, too! So it is decorative as well as functional, and is big enough for a cell phone.

My husband bought me a little fox purse from a thrift store years ago that I was crazy impressed with. Eventually our puppy got to it and chewed through the strap so I searched forever until I found the brand. I literally googled “fox purses” until I discovered Chala. So I bought a replacement. I love this purse. It’s large, well made, my only issue is that I’m short so I wish the strap was even more adjustable than what it is, or that it had a loop to secure the extra strap slack from when it was shortened. Super cute tho and has tons of pockets.

Love love love love this bag! Smaller than a meggensger bag, but slightly bigger than a regular purse. It can hold my cell phone, tablet, notebooks, pencil case, make up bag and I have plenty of room for more!It’s not too bulky and the fox design is super cute and durable.
