Seemed like a cheap unit at first, but turns out to work very well for my needs.

The optical disc player in my laptop died and this is an excellent replacement. Works like a dream for CDs and DVDs. Really nice device and easy to use.

Great Addition to my new laptop
Bought this because my new laptop did not have a DVD drive. The drive is a true plug-and-play for my PC and Windows laptop. The small footprint lets me carry it in my gadget bag. USP provides sufficient power. If I break it, the replacement price is small enough that I won't cry much.

Product works great only complaint is it shakes all over the place once it starts t read disk .

It also wouldn't play any DVD's for me, showing errors and the device itself seems to be missing programs to execute anything.
