Super Glue Gel - 2 Gram Tubes - 12 Count (Pack of 1)

Impressed! Quality packaging, durable individual tubes, easy to use (no scissors needed), the consistency is perfect, and the adhesion is awesome. I received my order yesterday and went about my day. While moving a cuckoo clock from one room to another, a decorative wooden piece broke off and fell the the floor. I was almost in tears as it's sentimental, very much so. I saw the box from Amazon, remembered what was inside, applied a dot, and put that wooden squirrel's tail where it belongs! No mess and no white residue. The seal is impressive as anything. If I didn't break it, I'd never know it happened. As far as glue goes, it's a must buy. (Q: Who doesn't love superglue?) (A: People who prefer superglue gel.) Cheers! 🙃

I had been using the original runny liquid version for 40 years. The adhesion was excellent, but because it was thin and runny it would frequently get on your hands or surfaces adjacent to the project you were working on. This gel version has solved that problem. Much easier to work with and it does not get on your hands or other surfaces. So far the adhesion strength is excellent, just as good as the original liquid formula. And the small tubes are great for separate small projects, which is what I have typically used super glue for over the years.

So the package is handy and not that hard to work. Not sure why people are having problems. There is a guy below who gives directions for use. In His review. The key is squeezing the box and having a touch of patience. I’m using the gel. It works well gluing beachglass and other found objects to canvas but they do slip. It’s not instantaneous and you have to press and hold for 20 or so seconds, sometimes. I’ve had things not stick at all for some reasons and have had to redo. The tiny bottles continue to ooze out glue even after you’ve dispensed what you need so I’ve taken to squeezing a small drip onto paper and dipping my medium in that. Less oozing out from beneath the piece, as well. It’s nice to have a bunch of little tubes. They last long and are portable. And can be thrown away when done and don’t get all gobbed up with old glue. All in all, a good price for a good amount of decent glue.

This is the best packaging yet..you can actually use it, re-cap it and use it again without it being clogged. I recommend this product!

Super Glue 15185 Gel, 12-Pack, .07oz tubes This is from the Original Super Glue company. I have added pictures below so you can see the container they came in. This container is a little tough to open, thus keeping little curious hands away!! Which is a feature that I happen to like! The container while not airtight, is pretty close. This will no doubt also help to keep the gel from drying out quickly. Nothing worse than going to glue something and discover that the tubes are dried up! These tubes each have a threaded top for easy piercing of the actual tube. This will enable you to "close" the cover when you finish for reuse at another time. I have used their products before but never the gel. I liked it and I liked that I had time to work with it a little bit. This was especially helpful for items that needed to be positioned for a moment while gluing them together. They recommend you hold the item you are gluing for 15 seconds. That's about how much time I had to position and hold. The gel is also able to be spread (*not with your fingers!) on surfaces that you are working with. But, remember it is still Super Glue and will bond very quickly, even in gel form. Being able to buy this in quantity for a reasonable price was great! Much cheaper than some stores I have bought from before. I am very pleased with this gel, and still exploring its uses.

I purchase this super glue primarily to adhere wood mouldings and appliques to furniture that I re-imagine. As the photo shows, the appliques on the buffet have all been attached using this super glue gel. The set-up time is 15 seconds so holding things in position, even on vertical surfaces, isn't a chore. It is cheaper per gram if you buy larger containers. However, once opened the shelf life is quite short so these "one and done" tubes turn out to be a better value for someone like me who tends to use several at once and then may go two months before needing again. At least I know any unopened tubes will be usable when I need them again. Price is similar to what the dollar store gets for them and Amazon always has them in stock and brings them to my door. No brainer!
