Great thing to have as a spare for the carrier vest or whichever product you use this with. I do event photography. I bought this extra hub so I could use the one I already have with the vest, and at the same time attach a strap to the bottom of a second camera, blackrapid style, since it has a hole to attach a key ring. Pros: Very well made, strong, machined aluminum. No worries carrying expensive gear. Since I’ve had this thing, I can’t live without it. It lets me attach any strap to the bottom of the camera. And it’s a backup for the one that came with the cotton carrier vest I already have. Cons: INSANELY EXPENSIVE

Works as expected very well with the system. However, compared to the older versions of this simple device the extra threaded hole for tripods and strapps makes the newer version so much better and sthe system far more usable.

These are a great deal on Amazon because of the free shipping. Yes, it’s a little expensive, but it’s smart to have a spare hub set! Trust me… I’ve lost pieces in bad conditions and wish I had had a spare😂 Never again!

Le harnais "cotton carrier" est d'origine livré avec cette pièce. Elle sert d'interface pour maintenir l'appareil photo sur le harnais avec montage/démontage très rapide. En principe on ne la démonte pas pour un autre usage. J'ai adapté le harnais à un monopode pour faire de la vidéo, monopode fixé sur un stabilisateur. Le tout pèse un certain poids (environ 3Kg : monopode + canon Mark IV + Feiyu ak2000). Cette pièce, fixée sur un montage "maison" avec une sangle permet: 1/une fixation rapide (montage/démontage en 1/4 de tour) 2/ soulage considérablement le dos, 3/ une utilisation style"HANDYCAM" doublé d'une utilisation de l'APN sur monopode sans démontage fastidieux.

OEM spare connecter fits and works perfectly. Lets me have it on a 2nd camera or as a backup so I can still use the carrier if I break the connector that came with it. Exactly what I wanted, arrived quickly and in perfect condition... so fully satisfied with it.

Leider ist der einzelne HUB für den Cotton Carrier einfach nur lächerlich teuer ! Funktion und passform natürlich perfekt. Ich habe immer meine 1Dx und das 800mm Objektiv dran. So lässt sich das einigermaßen bequem transportieren.
