THE RIGHT ACID FOR THE JOB, JUST BE CAREFUL ON THE LENGTH OF TIME IT SITS ON THE TILES
My pool has hundreds of square feet of tiles due to it's negative edge design. These are colored glass tiles. While the product works well there are some precautions to be aware of: 1; It will disintegrate your applicator - buy many and throw away, 2; It will discolor glass tiles if left on too long - there is no undoing that mistake! 3; It gives off an acid gas - so use in an open space. 4; use stainless steel bushes to scrub the calcium. 5; Do not set the bottle on a counter - the gas pressure will leak out the acid and etch the counter underneath. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Amazing!
This is an amazing product! I had very thick calcium build up and I was told by pool professionals the only way to remove it was by bead blasting. This product dissolved the buildup very quickly and, with a little elbow grease, it all came off easily. I highly recommend this product.

Aids in removing calcium from pool tiles
Used a paint brush to brush the Bio-Dex 300 liquid on the pool tile. The heaviest calcium buildup was in my spa. The liquid works but did not remove everything until purchasing an attachment for my drill that could finally remove the calcium buildup.

Wow... This stuff sucks
I purchased two bottles of this as I have a fairly large pool, and I live in Brentwood, Ca. We have very hard water (over 30 grains per gallon hard) and our pool had developed a pretty significant ring of calcium deposits around it. It looked bad, and I thought this stuff would help get rid of the hard water deposits around the pool. I followed the directions, and started working on one corner of the pool... 4 hours later, I gave up with this stuff. This product not only did nothing to loosen the deposits, the main thing it did was bleach the deposits super white... So after 4 hours of hard labor, my pool looked significantly worse than when I started. That was a fun Saturday! Seriously, Biodex 300 did absolutely nothing to clean up the tile... I have since gone back to Muriatic Acid and a straight razor blade gasket scraper... That sucks, but at least it works. I have spent quite a bit of time, and I am not done yet... But at least I am making progress! The Biodex 300 made absoluely no progress at all... My wife was almost crying when she went out to see how it was coming along and she saw the super white deposits left behind after I had worked for hours with the Biodex... Save your money... This stuff sucks worse than any product I have tried in years...

This works on thick thick calcium
First off, whoever is complaining that this doesn't work is crazy. I tried everything available in the market. I swear to god I had the thickest calcium buildup. And after about 3 to 4 runs at the main wall on my little waterfall. The calcium is gone. It took some elbow grease, but it's freaking gone!!!!! Plus, I have a lot left over for any upkeep.

Close but no cigar
Using to clean calcium deposits on pool waterline tile. Let sit and used drill with greenie pads. Took off the majority but still leaves a bit of residue. Continued application with no results. Definitely better but not resolved

Works well on stubborn buildups.
This works surprisingly well. I let my saltwater pool fall into disrepair for 2 years, and I tried this product for the first time. Followed the instructions and wore gloves. Be very careful not to set Scotch Brite or a sponge on concrete, as it will discolor it. Also, be very careful to not the product rundown a sidewall directly onto plaster because it will perform an unintended acid wash.

Amazing
Was hesitant at first buying as I saw ad on YouTube. Happy I bought anyways. Put on couple of coats, brushed and used hose to rinse off. It absolutely looks awesome now. First photo is before , second is after using.
