Worked fine. Fit my 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5L
If your engine cranks, but won't start, chances are the problem's one of these. The sensors come two in a package. They are identical and they work fine. Watch YT video to learn how to install them. The camshaft sensor is easy, but the sensor for the crankshaft is a little tricky. It's hidden and kind of buried, but you can do it. Just take your time and be careful not to drop the attachment bolt. I've had these both in for a month or so now and they work fine.

Ease of installation is not the parts or sellers fault
Ease of installation is not the parts' or sellers' fault Nissan hid on sensor under and behind things. The crankshaft sensor is between the back of the engine and the firewall. Clean the area around the sensors before you start. Take the air inlet/filter housing off then do some automotive yoga moves to get a wrench on the reainer bolt. Once it was loose I could remove it by hand, I have skinny arms. Then with a twisting pulling motion carefully remove the sensor. Unplug the old unit. Install the new one then push on the electrical connector. The cam sensor is out in the open :)

Good product at a great price
Once and for all, to stop the confusion in conflicting reviews. This is a 2 pack of the same item. It is a camshaft sensor. It is also a crankshaft sensor. They are identical parts. This product will work for either one because each requires this part. Same part number and all that. Glad we got that cleared up. As for the reviews saying the part did not fit, with the brand new o-ring and the lack of room in the engine compartment it can be a challenge to get the new part in, but it will fit. Assuming you have the correct part for your engine. I really hope this helps the next buyer not go through the trouble I did trying to make sense of some of the reviews!

Both sensors were defective, paid for install and they do not work, not a good product at all
Bought these sensors new on amazon, they are defective and do not work. My mechanic installed them, uninstalled them, reinstalled them. Basically, he did everything possible, and they do not work. Drove far to see my mechanics, lost a lot of time, paid a lot of money for the work to only find out these are defective. Not pleased at all.

I was having stalling issues on a model of vehicle this fits into, I read on some forums sometimes these sensors being shot can cause that so I got these and had a mechanic install them. It fixed the stalling immediately but very shortly after the install I noticed I was now having issues starting my car. I went back to the mechanic they tested a bunch of things and researched online what they thought was happening. After paying to replace a number of parts with the labor they ended up buying these sensors from a local parts store and reinstalled them and what do you know everything worked perfectly. So long story short they kind of work but are obviously insanely cheaply made and you're rolling the dice buying them into spending way more money later

These do the job. I haven't put many km on the car yet but honestly if i get two years out of it I'll be happy.
